I love Apocalypse Lane, but this one seemed pretty "pixelated."

By the way is Apocalypse Lane set in the Fallout world? Because I remember Willy mentioning Deathclaws in one of the episodes.

Yeah, we had a few render problems with this episode. The latest After Effects update screwed with my Macs multiprocessing rendering which stretched my render time from about 2 hours per scene to about 10 hours per scene. Which in producing a weekly series is unacceptable. So to deal with it I had to render a lower quality file.

The bad news is that next weeks episode will have a bit of pixilation in it. The good news is from there on the problem has been fixed, and every episode after that should not suffer.

I was wondering the same thing. Given the lack of context which lets us see when it could have taken place, I'd guess at it happening before the main plot starts due to its apparent irrelevance.

Jon, there's little you can do to top last episode's ending, with Cuddles delivering the biggest "Fuck you" in history, but that you can stir this plot around a roof. A roof, blows my mind.

It's a broken roof. Steve's broken roof. Why can't she break her own roof and fix it!? Questions!

I have a feeling that the roof is an important part of the plot. Or maybe you are just messing with our heads but I think the roof is somehow related to "the vault".

I personally think that the vault is under Steve's house, which may explain why Gladice might want the roof for protection. Otherwise, she's just a mean old ***** on the HOA who is in everyone's business about how their houses look and how tall their grass is. When Gladice was trying to sell the vulture Steve's house she did mention a basement...

Also, the pilot episode took place later in the series. I don't understand why everyone thinks it happened first.
