This show's humor isn't as appealing as shows like Unforgotten Realms with time-tested D&D humor, and Zero Punctuation's bitter sarcasm, but I think it still does a good job. It needs to find its footing, and it will most likely exceed expectations at that point.
This episode and Poker Night seem to show a preference towards pushing jokes till they become funny again. I think it works well.
Yeah, it's also hard to compare this show to ZP and UR because both of those are a bit more "game related" which I think helps those be as successful as they are on this website. I mean... it is a gaming website after all. :p

We tried to do something a bit different with these first few episodes to introduce the characters a bit and establish the relationships they all have before we get into the "meat" of the story.

A risky move on our part, and it has met some resistance, but i think when it's all said and done this will be right up there with the other great Escapist series. :)

Keep watchin. :)

So there is going to be a plot?!?! If there is that is great ^_^ that is all that is missing to make this a great series(in my opinion)! I hope it will explain what happed to make the whole dang thing go down the sink.

By the way great episode! I am enjoy this show more, and more every week.

Who would've thought Steve was such a pussy, which is funny and ironic when he's paired with Cuddles.

Why are so many people posting about how much they hate this and about how they will stop watching it? Posting about it just shows that you care MORE about AL than most. If the humor doesn't resound with you, aay that, not "this sucks and I will now tell you about how I will never watch this again."

I thought this episode was hilarious, but my favorite line still has to be "Gladys, have another cookie!" Keep up the good work.

Good Episode. Slowly finding your feet, I see!
Got me for another week! Ahh, what the heck, I'll make it two.
Awesome!! We're about 4 episodes ahead of ourselves over here. Next weeks is funny but episode 6 begins a fun story arc. :)
So there's actually going to be a proper story then? That could be what this show needs. I might tune in to episode 6 and give it one last shot then. Great story telling has saved many shows before.

This wasn't one of my fave episodes, but it still made me giggle (yep, I'm mature alright).
This show always makes me want to go back to Fallout 3, I need some will-power.

I think alot of people are missing the less basic side of the fart jokes.
It wasnt so much the fart that was supose to be funny,it was just the situation it was in,which found hilarious, gaint hog monsters meeting online and being all polite and such than just nose diving to rude and one ends up leaving in a huff.

At least thats what I took of it,if the idea was fart jokes, humor is humor, that would be a shame.

Well, I really liked last episode. But I'm just not sure about this one.
Don't get me wrong. It's still a good show, yet I felt like this episode was the worst of all 4 that came out yet.

couldn't stop laughing, it's more of a random show compared to the escapists videogame humor but I think it's absolute genius

Proof positive that the time-honoured tradition of resorting to fart noises can always raise a giggle, even from those of us who might otherwise be considered mature. :p
Look. There is nothing wrong with a fart joke. People who say that they are "above" that kind of humor are living in some strange world where they forgot how to have a good time.

Absolutely. It was far from a complaint, hell, it made me laugh a lot. S'all good, particularly when it's in context like that.

I've tried watching this series again and again, but there are just too many problems with it. It has nothing to do with gaming and the episodes are more like sporadic scenes thought up by a deranged 8 year-old. The humor is on the level of an 8 year old as well. No offense to anyone who actually thought this was funny.

Not everything on this site is about games, it's about escaping from the real, crappy world
