Apparently TVTropes really CAN ruin your life

I just got away from the site after 4 straight hours of surfing from one article to the next, and at one point I think I had 10 or 11 tabs open in one window, all different articles.

I just wanted to know what you guys think of the site, and the longest you've ever been held in its grip.

The site is a nice place to find information and I spent about 2 days on it a while ago looking at everything that Neon Genesis Evangelion had a Trope of. It'll waste away your life, yes, but think of the knowledge you'll attain!

To my knowledge I have a history of trapping people there. At the very least there's this one guy I got twice; he claimed that linking there was my thing because of that.

As for longest time, I haven't counted, but I'm pretty sure I've had a few all-day sessions that stretched late into the night.
