Ok, it's an Apple product, so I imagine it will cost ~$600 (twice of what the PS3 currently costs), it will be incredibly shiny and modern looking, have hardware somewhere between the previous console generation and the current one, and rely on small independent developers to release games and applications in an AppsStore with a more narrow focus. Of course the Apple fanboys will eat this thing up and buy another, claiming that the price and low power is totally justified for some reason or another. Yeah, I could also see the iPhone/iPod things being used as a controller...
But hey, maybe the Sony/Nintendo/MS fanboys will set aside their differences and mock this (no doubt total piece of shite) thing. Yep, I prophesize doom for this thing, and yet more money for Apple, because their customer base tends to buy shiny things impulsively...

I wonder, when this POS comes out what can we as the gaming public do about it other
than know that even as we're speaking some Apple fanboy is playing a shit port of an actually
good game that we all know and love like HALO MW2 COD4 and even Half Life 2!
Then just sitting down onto your bed and cry yourself to sleep.
The news of it's existence sickens me.

Yeah you're right (though they did need the add-on to actually work well). It is an innovation for more casual games and not one that I require or like. The few good games on the Wii are better with a GC controller. Kind of how the best use of a Mac is with a windows partition...Eldritch Warlord said:
