The new 3Ds Fire Emblem game might actually have sold me on it, and I don't normally like the franchise (I don't actually find it tactical enough, at least, Shadow Dragon didn't feel that tactical).
The story concept actually really snagged me, though. Dillemma between the jerkass empire that raised me, and the peaceful guys who are my real homeland? Alright, that's not that har-...Wait...The jerkass empire story is about trying to change it from the inside? hopefully to NOT let it remain as a warmongering menace?! Meaning I can either side with the peaceful guys to protect them, and not change anything, or betray the peaceful guys in an attempt to change the jerkass empire so that it stops invading people, and thus solving the problem long term?!
GOLD STAR, GUYS! This is a fantastic dilemma and I want in!
Also, I'm still hyped as fuck for the new yoshi game. It looks like we finally have a new proper yoshi game, and I'm really hyped for it.
And Splatoon. The more I see the more I wanna get it.
...Finally, wtf was that SMT x fire emblem trailer?! 0_o I mean, it doesn't look BAD, and I TRUST Atlus (they make fantastic games 90% of the time), but jeez that did NOT look like what I was expecting. I was expecting Fire emblem but with SMT demons and some SMT added combat depth and stuff. Not persona with Fire Emblem costumes! XD
