Connor grinned and bit his lip. There was no doubt any more: Micah was definitely into guys. And he was forward about it too.

"Sounds like a plan to me." he said with a chuckle, raising his eyebrows before taking another drink. "Do you live in the dorms here?"

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

"Nah, I live about a mile outside of campus, in those condos to the East." Micah explained where he lived to Connor. "How about you? You live in the dorms?"

Micah walked over to the cooler and grabbed himself another Mike's. It wasn't a strong drink, but he didn't really like strong drinks, he only wanted to get drunk enough that he enjoyed himself, without being too plastered to drive home.

"Its not far from here." Claudette said, looping her arm around Lance's. She walked outside with Lance, happy that it was still warm outside. It was late, but plenty of students were still out. The street lights had been turned on and provided them with plenty of light.

"So, did you have fun at the party?"

 

[Lambi]

Susan giggled and blushed when he called her cat toy cute. "Thanks. And yeah, I only use my TV for gaming. Or when I occasionally feel like watching a movie, but then I just use my Playstation 2 or 3."

She smiled when he said he wasn't good with conversations sometimes. "Heh, it's alright. I can sometimes have trouble with finding topics as well."

She listened carefully and with interest when he started playing, but then one of the strings snapped. "Aw, what rotten luck. I hope you have more guitar strings. You probably do have more, considering you never know when something like this will happen, and I'd assume that someone who owns a guitar would have spare strings."

 

[CounterAttack]

"Yeah, I've got a pack of replacements back in my room," Gabriel answered, tutting to himself as he inspected the snapped string. It had broken near the head; perhaps he had tightened it too much, causing the string to snap if he picked at it enough. That was most likely the case. Turning the machine head in the opposite direction to unwind the part of the string that was looped around it, Gabriel deftly pulled out the steel string and examined it; a clean break. The string could easily be replaced.

"Well, this shouldn't take long... but I'll do it later," he decided aloud. He set the guitar on the windowsill, the piece of the string which he had removed lying on top of it, and turned back to Susan. "So, um... you've heard my taste in music first-hand, hehe. What genres do you normally listen to yourself?"

 

[Shapsters]

"Ok that's enough of this party!" roared a loud, booming voice. A figure made his way through the middle of the dorm, he had a rather intimidating air about him as well as an appearance that demanded respect, he stood at around 6'2 and had a thick gray moustache he wore a well tailored brown suit. Reaching the middle of the party he threw his hands into the air, "I'm serious I want this party shut down, you may get away with these shindigs when I'm not around but I'm here to ensure that the college hosted party is the only one going on tonight. Shut it DOWN!"

The music suddenly stopped and the room went dead quiet, the man smiled, content with his yelling abilities he pointed to the door,

"That's right everyone out, go the the college hosted party if you like, but I don't want to see another party tonight."

Many grumbling and mumblings ensued as the room began to clear out.

"Yeah, I just live downstairs actually." Connor said to Micah. "I could-"

He was cut off as the loud voice came over the party. Connor looked up and saw the man who had invaded their party, his shoulders instantly slouching as he made his way in.

Snickering a bit as the man said 'shindigs', he looked back at Micah, Josh and Kiska. "Looks like we're outta luck." he said, somewhat sarcastically. He tipped back the last of his Breezer and finished it off, then threw it in the nearest bucket. "You think we should head to the 'dry' party now?"

 

[Lambi]

Susan gave a small chuckle and pointed at her T-shirt. "As if it wasn't obvious by my T-shirt, I mainly listen to metal. I listen to the occasional rock, such as Queen. And then it's just soundtracks from anime and video games, and a few remixes that I find are good. I can turn my computer on and give you a listen if you want?" she offered him. It wouldn't be a trouble for her to turn her computer on and give him a listen of what she usually listened to.

 

[The Zango]

"Yeah it was great, good to see some of the people we'll be studying with you know? Good to spend some time with you too, we should do it again. I mean, if my dancing hasn't put you off all Brits forever" replied Lance with a smile as they walked the campus streets arm-in-arm. For his first day at this new College, in this strange land with its new, interesting people, it had gone really well. If this day was an indication of how things were over here, well, looks like life would be just full of parties, nice people and.... moving boxes.

'And so begins my life as a semi-partyboy postman. Not bad'

"What a dick!" Anya commented as the party got swiftly broken up. "And you can tell he's just one of those power hungry types. You know, the one who gets a boner just ruining shit. Ugh, probably going to have to leave my stuff here too. Fucking asshole."

She went up to Josh, he had already proven he could handle his drinks, she needed to know if he could handle hers thanks to this rude interruption to her partying. "Hey, Josh, since the contest is kind of suspended, can you just hold onto my stuff for me? You know, just until Sergeant Dickless leaves and I can get it?"

 

[CounterAttack]

Gabriel was interested in the offer, but remembered the flyer stating that the non-alcoholic party was going to start up sometime that night. He checked his watch, raising his eyebrows at the time. They had taken more time than he realised to talk and play their music.

"Um, sure. One thing before you start it up, though... do you still have that flyer? Y'know, the one about the party tonight? I forgot what time it starts, and I'm not sure that I wanna be too late to it," he explained, a little sheepishly. He'd never been one for 'fashionable lateness'. It was better to be five minutes early than an hour late.

 

[CosmicCommander]

Mark gave a smirk as he walked up to the man, and gave a slow nod at him.

"Thanks very much, I was trying to get some sleep, and their racket was keeping me up."

"Yeah, it was nice to see some of our classmates. And we should definitely hang out again", Claudette said happily. The pair walked for a couple of more blocks, just enjoying each others' company. After walking for a little while longer they finally arrived at Claudette's apartment.

"Well, I guess I'll see you around..."

"Not sure why exactly you were sitting in the corner but you're welcome son." continuing to motion with his arms until most people had cleared out, the man now walked toward Josh and shook his hand, "Mr. Richardson, I should hope you don't plan on having parties like this very often, we do not need these things getting out of hand as they usually do. It is my responsibility to keep this school under good condition and spirits, if you make my life difficult I will do the same to you. However, I hope I don't have to be a total stick in the mud so lets just... help each other out yes? I can only ask for now that you settle your parties down and perhaps attend the school hosted party. Have a good night everyone."

The large man walked out of the room and the dorm suddenly became much less tense.

 

[Lost In The Void]

Joshua waited for the door to close and once he did, he burst out laughing, "God what a rush, that was fun, that was fun..." he trailed off chuckling as he thought of the serious man who tried to level with him and the sour puss who acted all happy the party was broken up, "Oh man this year is going to be awesome. Anyways," he addressed the girl beside him, "Course you can leave that here, just throw it in the minifridge I'll make sure no one touches it."

He cracked his knuckles and looked at the few people that remained in his dorms, "Alright one, I think we should head down the other party and chill for a while meet more people, also people who live outside the dorms, feel free to crash here for the night if you need to, there's a toilet for puking and plenty of couches for beds, just let me know," he guided everyone out of his dorm for the time being though "Lets go to that party."

Kiska wasn't surprised at the serious man coming in and stopping Josh's party, but she still felt disappointed. She was having meeting new people and talking. She was distracted from that grumpy kid that acted cheerful when the serious man came in. I hope I don't see much of him this year. He seems like a jerk.

She regained her train of thought as Josh was leading people out of the dorm and to the other party. Kiska met up with him as she left his dorm room, "Well, it was fun while it lasted. Sorry to see it got broken up so early."

"Don't worry about it. My stuff doesn't need fridging, but thanks hun," Anya told Josh. "If I can pay you back in anyway, you let me know, k?" She followed after Josh as he led the other group towards the college party.

Sigh I hope this doesn't suck. This party was going so much better until that dick showed up. And then that kid walking out! He's even worse! Fucking being such a snob, 'Eh ooh, racket was keeping me up!' Bull-fucking shit! If he talks to me, I'm so calling rape.

Anya looked around to see where Connor and Trisha were, to see if they had filtered out with the group, but she couldn't spot them. She silently cursed her small stature as she kept going with the mob.

 

[The Zango]

"We definitely should" repeated Lance after Claudette, another one of his smiles present on his face. It had been a great evening and a really nice walk, for while they had not said much, that was not the point, her proximity and company had been enough for Lance.

As they stopped infront of Claudette's building, Lance briefly considered going in for a kiss with Claudette, but decided against it, even a light one. They had only just met and Claudette didn't seem the type to kiss on the first date, which was actually quite lucky, for Lance himself liked to tease the prospect of a kiss when he could.

"Could I get your number Claudette?"

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

"We can head there if you want." Micah said to Connor, looking over to Kiska talking to Joshua. "It'll probably be alright, should still be fun... Unless you'd maybe like to head downstairs to your dorm? If you've got a computer, I can show you some of my art that I've posted online..."

Micah smiled up at Connor, obviously flirting with him. If he could get a little fun out of him, it would have made the night a worthwhile experience.

 

[Lambi]

"Oh, right. Yeah, I should have it here somewhere." Susan looked around her room and saw the flyer on her computer table besides her computer screen. She picked it up and read over it.

"...It just says 'this evening' on here. Not the time. Who makes a flyer for a party and doesn't put down the time? That's stupid." She handed the flyer over to Gabe so he could read over it too.
