You probably shouldn't watch this if spiders creep you out, or you are legitimately afraid of them, i.e. phobia...

That being said, what would you do if you looked out your window and you witnessed spiders as big as your fist blocking the view of the actual sky. Do you suppose they have a spider leader, a spider god?

To be honest, it's pretty cool, they're likely trying to imitate what they normally do in the jungle, it's just that you can see them all without a jungle canopy blocking the view. That being said, I don't want to see it for real...

That is .... fucking terrifying.

I have reasons for my spider fear/hatred and to have them falling out of the sky on my head would make me cry like a small child who stubbed their little toe.

So many of them .... why are so many of them in one place with no one purging them with cleansing fire?

Spiders are bad enough when they're confined to the ground. The day that spiders start flying around where I live is the day I build a bunker.

I haven't looked at the video for fear of my sanity, so is there a chance someone could describe it to those too afraid to take a look?

I cry like a small child if I even see one in my room, that's how bad I have it.

It look like I will need more than just an umbrella if I ever go to Brazil, anyone know where I can buy a hazmat suit?

What the fuck, how are they doing that? Did they all build one giant web over the place? That's fucking nuts.

Strong winds can blow Spiders out of their nests, but remember, their webs are incredibly strong for their size. So they would have latched onto the hydro poles and started rebuilding.

I can't even see the damn web, it looks like they're just floating there. I mean I know there is a web but ...
Yeah, it's nightmare fuel.

When you see writing on walls in L4D saying "GOD IS DEAD", is this what they meant?

It seems as if they have built a massive web between telephone polls, upon which hundreds of fuckin' massive spiders have made their home.

Just hundreds of spiders in some area of Brazil all walking along webs strung across powerlines. To put it simply. It is pure terror.
Oh, come on - it's not so bad - the spiders have only taken over the electricity. In addition for being able to use it however they want, they can also just cut it completely, leaving everybody in the dark. And spiders like the dark. They just want to make their lives more comfortable so they can take over the world in a wave of terror and dread we can all be friend.

i assume that is a communal spider web in which case it's actually pretty rare amongst most spider species who usually have a tendency to just you know... eat each other
but as usual with any creepy animal phenomena that makes you want to crawl into a ball and die australia has it beat

Look at the size of that thing!
Red Leader, this is Red 5 standing by, ready to proton torpedo the ever-loving shit out of those things. Request you give the order to fire at will.

Yeah, I can never go to Brazil now. That is fucking scary. I mean, I get the shudders any time a spider is in my room, but an entire canopy of them hanging above my head... no thank you.

Perhaps they're preparing for the invasion? You know, the one Bill Bailey predicted:

Eh?

It's just a bunch of spiders sitting in a web very far away from the camera.

Mind you, colonial spiders can be really creepy when they are well choreographed, they all sit still then they all suddenly move at the same time, then they all stop moving at the same time.

That's like that Britney Spears music video, except Britney is a spider, and her backup dancers are also spiders, and they are wearing spider fur instead of revealing costumes. Also, there's no music. That's much creepier.
