It's easy to point a finger across the Ocean and say, 'They're to blame.'
Yeah that's what I do. Then again I'm American. So clearly I'm right.
Yeah, you know who else did that? Hitler, and it didn't end to well for the Jews or the Germans.
Damn it! You've just evoked Godwin's Law.

I'm British and I actually hate my country and love America. I think I might have been some kinda mistake and shoulda been born in America. I've been to NYC, Philadelphia and D.C. and they're just the greatest places in the world! Well, actually Philadelphia was quite a shit hole lol but I can't wait 'til I move to NYC. Americans (at least the ones that I met over there) seem to be much happier than the miserable pricks and football hooligans I'm surrounded with a lot of the time
I enjoyed living in the States but I came home after 2 and a half years. Just out of interest, where are you in the UK?
I live in the west midlands but go to University in Aberystwyth (which does kick ass)
Why did you decide to move back?
There are some grim areas in the west mids. I used to work there being a Stoke lad its down the road.

I came back when we had a death in the family. In the end I got used to having my family around again, got myself a girlfriend and I've only been back on holiday since. I did live in Houston. It was a fun few years.
Cool a fellow Stokie, not sure if i should greet you as a brother or check that my wallets still in my pocket, ah i kid... you'd have knocked me out before the theft so i'd have no chance to check.
I might not be a Stokie, but I live here with my fiancee (after finishing my degree in Politics at Keele University).

I honestly never thought I'd meet someone else from this shithole on here ;)

It's dificult to root for America when their enemies are armed with harsh language and rocks. And the government is still stupid I guess Obama was the better candidate to present the economic crisis to world because everyone cheered it's like "Hey we are so poor Obama save us by taking every natural resource that we have and destroy our homes".Thay are not improving anything.Obama has done the exact opposite of his promises. They produce 30% of the worlds goods but consume only 5% What a bunch of hogs. And if anyone quotes or responds I don't care.
Dude, I'll shoot you for free if you want. I don't even need the 12 bucks. Idiocy like yours should be rooted out of the gene pool as quickly as possible.
I wouldn't be surprised if you were American and I am right about everything I've said just check and no it's not from wikipedia so fuck off.

Did...did you just try and post a picture from your desktop?

Do you mind posting it on the internet so we can all share the joke?
Uh yeah I did... never mind, I fail. Its not even .jpg. Basically it was the list of threads on the front page with this thread, then a thread called 'screw you US' underneath... made me laugh.

We do get every where. Normally I avoid using the word "duck" and hope no one notices.

No, i actually find Americans anti-British. Damn it if I hear another American use, 'fancy some tea and crumpets' in some dreadful British accent as an insult over Xbox Live i shall physically punch them through my TV screen.
Thats XBL, it is not reprasentative of real life. If you live in America the people are polite and quite like the British. The women can't resist the accent, you don't even have to try. Or maybe thats just Texas where the majority of the Americans I have met and known live.
Yeah in fact even when movies "stereotype" British people as the villains its generally not the Brits - It's the accent. The many people think of the accent as suave and educated in the US and those are two great traits for an evil mastermind. (or a super sexy spy)
