are fetishes and sexual orientation choices or predetermined from birth?

I think fetishes may more likely be developed. While orientation is from birth, interests I think are more from growing up.

I learned from Dodge ball the answer to this
"We know being fat is usually genetic, like necrophilia, but it is your fault for not hating yourself to do something about it"

EDit: There is this one kid in my class, who is going to join the army when he grows up just like his father, that says being gay is a choice and every gay person wants to be gay. Me and 3 other kids told him that he was being a idiot.

I firmly believe they are ingrained in individuals from birth. As a kid, before I knew how to talk I was facinated by breasts. not for food, I was bottle fed, but my mom always tells stories of how when her friends picked me up my hands always went for her chest. luckily I was about 2 so everybody laughed it off.
after I started highschool my parents weren't surprised when every girl I brought home had huge boobs because of how I behaved as a child.

so escapists, what is your opinion?
When I was growing up, I was always keenly interested in characters in cartoons and TV shows who were kidnapped or held against their will. I found myself wanting to be in their shoes. Whenever I played cops and robbers with my cousins, I wanted to be the one in the toy handcuffs. It was just...appealing to me.

Now, I guess you can imagine what sort of fetish that turned into. I wasn't oversexualized as a child in any way, but I don't think I was undersexualized, either. My parents don't really talk about sex, and are appalled the subject of kinky sex. All of my knowledge of it came from personal exploration, mostly via the Internet. It's just always been a part of me. I've been this way as far back as I can remember.

So, needless to say, I do think we are predisposed to have certain...turn-ons. Some more specific and more extreme than others, but they're there nonetheless.
