I was going to say sodomize, but in retrospect, what "more Fun to Compute" said makes more sense.

So what I meant was.... what he/she said.

Kind of.

The problem is that many game developers are seeing the flow of new casuals into gaming as a fine way to release some crappy games and call it a day. Also still is the trend of taking core game titles and dumbing them down to appeal to a wider audience. There is nothing necessarily wrong with making a game accessible, but many developers seem to be more than willing to sacrifice sophistication for more money. It's kind of like developers are returning to the days of NES and SNES gameplay, but without the difficulty that many NES/SNES games had.

Overall, it's pretty clear that more and more financially-minded people are leading game development over creatively-minded people.

As much as I get your point, that's really the wrong thing to do. If you don't like games that are being made, at least buy the ones that you can respect. You are voting with your wallet. Just make sure you vote for the ones that need voting for, and not stopping short of "I can get that free"

I think racing games have been tanking since the early 2000's. The trend has been to move more and more towards arcade style racers with shiny graphics to appease the masses as opposed to a solid simulation with amazing physics and a wide variety of circuits that are ACTUALLY good!

My piracy is incidental to my position. To reiterate, I posit that you approve of today's games.

I did not say you're responsible for them. We can both SEE that you are. I merely holdout that if you pay for them you must like them.

I don't pay for anything. I even steal the ones I like. Especially the ones I like. In fact, I don't steal bad games at all.
