Are Graphics better on the 360?

I believe both of them have the same graphics or a negligible difference if any.

While this is the same, if you're planning on being exclusive to PS3 you have 50GB to work with, which means more material in games. Though most of it is wasted due to having to copy data to other parts of the disc because of BD being only 2x speed on the PS3. Or something like that, if anyone can confirm.

It totally depends on the game you are playing.

With that answer I see two possible outcomes: 1.) Nobody is pissed at me 2.) BOTH PS3 AND 360 fans JOINTLY attack me.

Judging from experience, I foresee #2

Simple, exclusive on the ps3 are better looking than any exclusive on the 360,(GEARS 1 uncharted looks better, GEARS 2 Uncharted 2 looks better, Halo 3 killzone 2 looks better, GT5 not out yet but looks better than FORZA 3,MGS4, Heavy rain, GOW3) but multi-platform are, up to a year ago better on the 360.
But to me the 360 is still a great console, getting 1 for christmas cant wait to play the new sptiller cell game!!!!

360 fanboys will say that their system has better graphics, and PS3 fanboys will say the opposite. In the end, the answer is neither, because it is solely up to the developers, and none will every meet or exceed the graphics capabilities on either console.

Irritatingly loud PS3 owners will say that the PS3 is the be all to end all and everything else sucks.

Nobody wants to hear from either of these and I am sick of hearing about it. So, to be on the mature side of things, I'm going to say that since either company has the power to fine-tune their respective systems to a godly prefection, they're about equal. I'm never going to give two shits about that sort of thing. I just figure the ones who do need a reality check.

I find the difference in graphical power between PS3 and 360 to be negligible. Theoretically the PC is better, but I take comfort in knowing that I don't have to spend hundreds manually upgrading a console every year. I'd LOVE to play Fallout 3 on a PC, but the 360 version is far more convenient.

Games originally developed on the 360 and ported over to the PS3 will generally look better on the 360. I've heard some pretty bad things about the PS3 version of Assassin's Creed 2. But yes, the PS3 should look better for games designed for the PS3, as opposed to the Xbox 360 with games designed for the Xbox 360.

It really depends on the game.

The ps3 has better hardware then the 360, but the 360 has a much easier OS to program for, meaning that the ps3 has the potential for better graphics then the 360, but requires more work then some developers are willing to invest.

The ps3 looks better when it plays ps3 exclusives but when it comes to multi platform games I think that and the 360 are pretty much the same. I guess some of it depends on how good your TV is too.

Depends on the game. PS3 is stronger than 360, and PC is stronger than both.

But because the architecture is easier on the 360, multi-platform games will be better on the 360. That's pretty much the way it will be until near the end of the PS3's lifespan.

Sorry pals, but can you prove that assumption that the PS3 is more "powerful" than the 360? Exactly what the hell does more powerful mean in this case? And it doesn't matter anyway because that has nothing to do with graphics.

But yeah it really depends on the game itself, the settings and specs you have, and any misc differences between PS3 and 360 versions. Sadly there is no true way of knowing on what console does a game look better unless you research it I guess.

Multiplatform games usually tend to look better on the 360. Certain PS3 exclusives like Killzone 2, MGS4 and Uncharted 2 look better than anything on the 360. But like someone else said, you shouldn't pick your system based on which has better graphics, you should pick based on which system has exclusives that interest you more.
