I associate it with those idiot frat-boys who say "yeah let's go get us some chicks!" and I just don't like being called it. :\

pipes are awesome but most people can't make it look good. in the meantime, work on growing facial hair; for pipes i suggest a good handlebar mustache. if you can't grow decent facial hair you'll never swing a pipe.

Agreed, however I love Zippos so much, and i don't smoke anything, I just have (well I lost it but I'm ordering one again, same design I loved it so much) one and love it.

Pipes are cool if you have a beard. I guess they're sometimes cool without aswell, but a beard really ups the cool factor. Naturally, it's not the function that pipes serve that is cool, but rather the look.

Fedora + raincoat
Bowler hat + tuxedo + cane
