What?
Media stacked against virgins?
What is that even supposed to mean?
From army games and movies I've learned that 'stacking' means taking cover by doors and stuff.

So I'm guessing the media is taking cover against the eventual virgin revolution?

I watch the news and partake of media quite a lot, and I've never seen anything I can recall as being somehow 'against' either those who have not had sex or the company run by Richard Branson D:

Absolutely [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hostile_media_effect]. They're against everyone with an opinion.

Silly OP.

Everyone is against virgins.

Damn virgins, they ruined Virginia.
Is anything good about virgins?

Virgin margarita? It needs tequila!

Extra Virgin Olive Oil? Who is it trying to impress?
How can something be extra virgin?

That just makes no sense.

What? Do they have to have more sex to not be considered a virgin anymore?
Actually, since virgin is the state of having having number of times sex had = zero, and a value of anything greater than zero would cause you to no longer be a virgin, the only way to somehow be more virgin than zero would be to have that value negative.

Extra virgin would have to have somehow had sex less than never.

I think the OP means the modern pop culture making it look like being a male virgin after a certain age means you're a complete and utter loser in all areas of life.

Somehow like you know, in movies, nerds are either morbidly obese, gothy virgin types, or morbidly obese, gothy sex god types. There is no middle ground.

I'm just thinking, are the news media (and media in general) generally stacked against virgins? Sometimes it seems like they are.
What the sense make?

Blunt, unwittingly hilarious, thinly explained point aside...

I do get what you're getting at. There's a certain tendency in the media to see virgins as either ultra religious, or downright terrible people. It's never choice, it's never that somebody was unlucky earlier on in life and is now struggling to "learn" everything that should've been learnt earlier, it's never that the person simply isn't very attractive. It's always that the virgin in question is a creepy, perverted, mysoginistic asshole. Outside of teen movies in which the virgin is the protagonist, of course.

It is hard to take this thread seriously for obvious reasons, I am skeptical and think it is a joke. As for the media being against virgins... what? Our species is very sexual and if you are a virgin and of a age where such a state is notably unusual than the problem is with you. Not the media, not society. I know someone reading this will think of replying with the "choice" option but honestly those people who truly want to wait and choose to do so are extremely rare. The fact is most well into adulthood virgins having some kind of trait that works against them.
As completely tactless and pretty stinging as this post is, he's right. By about twenty and up, it is no longer normal to have not had sex, not in todays world. That very fact would most likely suggest that something's wrong with you, I ain't gonna sugar coat it much. Doesn't make you a bad person, it just means something's missing that's there by this point with most people. Something you need to achieve that particular thing, be it confidence, looks, a general better attitude or just a bit more effort.

The NEWS media? I don't recall the last time someone's virginity was relevamt to a story. Maybe it is different in the bipolar purotanical/sex obssessed United States.

Off topic but we have an angry Volcano God, perhaps you could help us out?
