Are the servers on Rainbow Six Siege still active? (All of them in general but PS4 in particular)

I was someone who really liked the beta for Rainbow Six Siege, had a lot of fun times with it because it was something new to me, but I just couldn't bring myself to pay sixty bucks for it, especially when it was going to be trying to wring out more pennies out of me via microtransactions. Now that prices are starting to drop in some areas I'm getting mildly curious again, but I feel the need to test the waters. Are the servers active enough to justify getting into the game?

(While I'm at it, I'm curious. How are the servers for games like Star Wars Battlefront, Titanfall and Evolve looking right now?)

I can't speak for PS4, sadly, but there's a free weekend on PC and it seems pretty active. Then again, I dunno if that's because there's a bloody free weekend on.

The servers are still up, but the community has a pretty bad case of BM and poor sportsmanship.

On PC, even when it's not a free weekend, it's reasonably populated. I at least don't have problems finding a match (Western US). But I can't say anything about PS4.

Don't know about Siege, but Battlefront still has reasonably populated servers.

So far with my PC version of siege I find it a little hard to find good games. There was the match where I was fresh out of the situations, completely new and they dropped me in with some other newbies against some veteran, platinum rank, clearance level 100 guys. Maybe that's just means the European community is dead, i dunno.
