Yeah, I loved grinding in GTA: Chinatown Wars, by drug dealing. I could play that game for hours and just do that, and it would still be fun for me.
I know what you mean, chinatown wars is one of those games that never gets old.

Well I would of said World of Tanks but then I unlocked the T34 (No not the Russian T-34 America had its own heavy tanks during ww2) which taught me what it would be like to place my hand in a vise.

Diablo 2, hands down!
That game was fun because of the grind for epic loot!

Remember the feeling when killing Mephisto and seeing him dropping for example a gold colored "Russet Armor"?
Better yet, if it was ethereal? Oh, you know you loved that shit.

Memories.....

Nothing I can really consider grinding, no, not fun at all. Now, do you just consider playing multiplayer games grinding? I don't play them with the mind set of "I need to level up to get the next thingy!", I play them because they're challenging, testing my skills against those of others, and that's what I consider fun.

The way I see it, grinding is a mentality. Are you doing something repeatedly for the sole purpose of completing some objective, whether it be leveling up, advancing in rank or just unlocking something? Congrats, you're grinding. Doing something for the sake of doing it? Hey! Not grinding.

I guess Kingdom Hearts, but that's because I don't really remember having to grind.
On the regular difficulty at least, I think if you don't run from any fights, you don' need to do any grinding.

Though I didn't enjoy leveling those form things in Kingdom Hearts 2. Then you'd get that Shadow form thing which, although cool, meant you weren't getting experience for the form you wanted...
But yeah, regular leveling was hunky dory.

Kingdom Hearts 1&2, Fallout 3, Baldur's Gate, Torchlight, and Chrono Trigger come to mind.

I'm playing it now actually, and working through '100%-ing' the various villages, towns and cities, as well as all the military bases. I'm still very much enjoying blowing everything up, and hunting down all the resource packs.

On a side note, does anyone know if you can continue to roam around and collect things and do missions AFTER the 'main story' has been completed.
Yes, you most certainly can. I only ever got about 81% done, and the story is only a small percentage, total. Best of luck.

In vanilla WOW I immensely enjoyed grinding with my warlock and priest, I don't know why, maybe it was my obsessive nature or the fact that back then your grinding mean something and got you somewhere.
Minecraft and Terraria, when I started playing both and the games didn't have that much special in them yet, I enjoyed it immensely, just getting enough stone to build a castle from hell-level to the sky island, made totally of gray bricks. In Minecraft mining a huge decorated collection of tunnels with a certain pattern and architecture was just something amazing for me.

But it maybe just my obsessive nature.

league of Legends and Just Cause 2.
LoL because every single match is different, JC2 because, well, who doesn't like blowing shit up.
