I've tried a few browser games, but none of them held my attention long because its either A. be completely weak and easy pray for people who pay or B. pay and be obnoxiously op to other players.

There is a section on The Escapist "Alt+Escape" which provides details about some web games.

Also, "N". Look it up.

Check out the 10 games in 10 days feature the escapist had here a while ago, good stuff, no idea what the actual name of the feature was but im sure you can find it.

Yep - here is it: http://www.quakelive.com/
Heartily recommended. It's Quake 3, free, in a browser!

However, I do sometimes have problems with connection, and I'm not the only one. It's still in beta however, so it will (hopefully) be fixed by the time the proper version comes out.

Wow.

People think this is fun?

Anyway, I recommend Tasha's Game. [http://www.doublefine.com/news.php/minigames/Tashas_Game]

Thanks a lot for all the great ideas, I honestly did not know where to start and I did not want to waste endless hours trying games that are horrible.

If you like a challenge, try You Have To Burn The Rope [http://www.mazapan.se/games/BurnTheRope.php].

If you like achievements, try Achievement Unlocked [http://armorgames.com/play/2893/achievement-unlocked].

Depending on what kind of browser game you want you could try RuneScape. It's pretty much WOW if it was 43 megabytes(look at the game before you judge the size), and is fairly epic. I can't find the system requirements, but if I'm right you can run everything at max with 1GHz, and 1 gigabyte of ram. This game even breaks away from other MMORPG's by letting you make a very profitable character without them having any real combat power. Anyways I'm done showing how much I like RS, and I recommend this game very much.

P.S. This game is free, but you can pay $8(Canadian) to unlock who huge amount of content.
