It might just be me talking crap, but I don't think that there as many 'great' female guitarists because they tend not to have egos the size of a small moon and therefore get muscled out and end up being bassists, or drummers maybe.

This is something I notice in music in general, which is... odd.
I mean I can count the number of female lead guitarists I've heard of on one hand.
