So, I have been playing MW2, Mag, and some other stuff my friends house yesterday. Whilst playing MW2...I realized, I really and truly hate the map "Rust" on MW2.

Any one else have a map you don't like at all?

Shipment - CoD 4

It's a cluster-fuck of epic proportions, plain and simple. Especially if everyone's using the grenade launcher.
[sub]And, let's face it, this is Call of Duty 4. Everyone and their mother is using the grenade launcher on Shipment.[/sub]

Train Wreck on Uncharted 2. Midway through a game snow starts to cover your screen making it hard to see people and when you can you need to see if it's an enemy and decide fast. It's even worse when your health is low and the screen goes grey making things near impossible to see.

Nice idea for a thread I'll add.

So I guess that map is a train wreck?

OT: Any map in MW2, especially Wasteland.

The de_dust maps on CSS.

Seriously, back when I used to play CSS, I got so sick of playing on those maps. They were usually the only ones ever being played. I remember one incident in which we were playing on a de_dust map, and when the match was about to end I was quite happy, but then a poll came up and everyone selected the fucking "Extend match by 20 minutes" option.

Not to mention the number of times I have jumped into a match where the map was one I actually enjoyed only to have the admin change the next map to ... you guessed it, de_dust.

It's one of the reasons I just stopped playing, another reason being the dumb-ass Australian kids I constantly had to put up with.
"Oy you fucking dick, you're a NZer, you're not supposed to be on our servers you fucking NZ prick, fuck off!"

I mean, for fuck's sake.

Pretty much all of the maps in MW2. I liked COD4's maps a lot more. [sub] Except for shipment and wetworks. Those 2 can go die. [/sub]

Any other description of it is blatant falsehood.
Shipment's fine if it's split screen - then it's fun! *gasp*

For myself...
I dunno, the only games I play online are TF2, L4D2 and Bad Company 2 (I'm seeing a trend here), and so far I haven't come up against a map I truly hate on any of them.

Pretty much any of the MW2 maps. CoD4's maps were a lot beter. They were smaller and yet felt bigger, except Shipment and wetworks. They pissed me off as well.

Splitscreen, I.e. two players, is completely fine. It's a tense, thrilling experience.

Anything more than that is a 20-second lifespan battle royale.

I seem to be the only one who loved Shipment on CoD4.

Here's my most hated maps:

MW2: Karachi & Derail
CoD4: Chinatown at first but then I grew to like it.
007 Nightfire: Atlantis
Super Smash Bros Brawl: Final Destination (Seriously, why does everyone choose this map?)

I'd think 20 seconds is pushing it to be honest.

There isn't any particular map that comes to mind. If there's a map I don't like, I'll adapt to it. For an FPS however, about half the maps from Perfect Dark Zero are the worst.

And Estate in MW2.

Incorrect. I loved Shipment for the fact that it was a clusterfuck of epic proportions. It was just totally wild and fun.

I usually don't like Rust since the spawn system is pretty screwed up there that the only way to guarantee that an enemy won't spawn behind you is to camp a corner, which is not fun.

Although I remember when the Ground War glitch sent us to that map in a 18 person free for all... utter and complete chaos. And I loved every second of it.

Stasis from Gears of War 2. It's bad for close combat, bad for long range combat. The only way to do it is with pistols and grenades. The map just wasn't made well. There are no good tactics for it. Every other map, including the ones from the DLC, are just amazing and I wouldn't change them a bit. I just cannot stand playing on Stasis.
