$5-$10 an hour!? That's like slavery.

OT: Yeah they look compatible.

The parts are compatible but not really optimal... Also, you haven't gotten any RAM yet.

Honestly you're not going to get any noticable improvement in performance with a X6 CPU over what you'd get with a X4 one. You'd be better off getting a Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition and an aftermarket HSF (heatsink/fan combo) so you can overclock it.

Your GPU card is also just a bit underpowered... Currently I wouldn't build a gaming rig with less than a HD 6870 in it... then, looking at budget, go up the scale from there to GTX 560Ti -> HD 6950 -> GTX 570 -> HD 6970 -> GTX 580.

As for RAM... if you're going to be dicking around with video editing and so on, 8GB minimum.

i'm still in high school and i'm making no money so it's definitely better than how it is now, and i would be much happier if it was more

Down here even a 15 year old can make $10-12 an hour minimum.

Honestly I would look up all the games you own/want and check if AMD/ATI has any known problems with them. They have had serious driver problems with a lot of games in the past (the most recent ones being Rage and Minecraft). Also unless you plan on getting a second GPU at some point the 800w might be overkill a 600w would be more reasonable. Personally I would recommend a GTX 570 instead of the radeon 6970 for the reasons I listed but its your choice.
