The right man...in the wrong place...can make all the difference...in the world. Wynn....is restricting himself...well....as to not cause...complications. In other words, he's staying in the WW forums so he isn't banned outright. If he were to stick his head out in the more public forums it would likely get bit off.

I actually know very little about him. I tend to just post non-sequiturs in his threads or imply we are in a relationship. I take very little time to read them unless it is particularly random and likely to make me laugh.

OT: It is starting to feel a little livelier around here but not that much. I have no intention of jumping ship but I am looking for a more active place to hang.

They're getting more active, sure, but that's because it's a mainstream forum that doesn't disallow discussion of religion or politics so aside from the old guard users who would have the odd exchange we've attracted a legion of shit stirring wankers from both sides of the grand canyon that that is the political divide who are determined to make sure they're heard in the one place that won't get them kicked out of causing a disturbance or glassed by the rough half of the pub.

Although you may notice that I became a Mod and now all of a sudden the site picks up...

Now I'm not saying it was all caused by my greatness but I'm not not saying that either. You may leave your "Thank You Money" in this collection plate that is being passed around. The funniest thing about this is that we were told by a mod that it was a "muck-up" and that the staff were "working on a fix to return the Popular Posts box without the Wild West forum posts."

That was 6 months ago.

Soooo... I guess after 6 months of "working on a fix" they just gave up? Because the forum box has been put back completely unchanged.

(Unless Barbas was lying to us, which I guess is a possibility, given that no other mod ever offered any commentary on this...)

I haven't bothered to be on the forums for quite a while simply because the front page popular posts box was gone for months. Without an easy way to see the popular topics, I just couldn't be bothered to track down random items in the forum. I would occasionally visit the thread for a news article or featured content, but otherwise it was like the forums didn't even exist for me.

Now that the box on the front page is back, I will probably be a bit more active.
