I'm more outgoing when it comes to stating my opinion over the internet in general. So yes, I would say I do act differently.

I think that I'm the same off as I am on the Escapist. I wouldn't come on here and pretend to be something I'm not.

I am MUCH nerdier on the Internet. When I'm out actually trying to convince real-live girls to have sex with me, nerdy doesn't really do it.

Yes cause in person I am much more aggressive, arrogant, and downright mean. I take a more sensible approach when I am forced to write out everything I say, and reread it.

In real life I'm a quiet, socially awkward. On the internet, not so much. Maybe because I don't have to talk to people face to face, and here, if I don't like some one or something, I can click the little red X in the corner of my screen

On forums I tend to be a very cynical *****, mainly to be a catalyst for lulz.

Away from the computer I'm a pretty cool girl who doesn't afraid of anything. I'm actually quite timid.

Oh man...I'm incredibly different on here.
The biggest difference is how much I talk.
In person, people are lucky to get three or four sentences out of me.
Here, the blessing of anonymity and extra time to think gets all of you a much more expressive Neon!

In a way, I am. I'm basically the same person here and in real life, but I am much better at typing out what I want to say than verbally saying it.
If I try to speak in real life, I can't piece together the words in exactly the way I want.

Not in the slightest, apart from you can't physically see me so my people reading skills and manipulation tactics don't work.... but everything that can come out of a monitor is the same as the physical me. Outspoken and honest... I try to be polite though.

On the escapist im probably alot nerdier, less sick/sexualy jokes, less swearing, politer, if i acted like i did on the escapist in real life i wouldnt have many friends :)

probably the opposite to everyone else on here most people are shyer in real life where as im shyer here probably people would accuse me of being a troll or get me banned if i acted like i am in real life and you can't get across when your joking on the internet or being sarcastic so people would just think im being agressive :)

Yes. Here I actually have an ego/confidence, call it what you will. Offline I'm a self hating loner who systematically alienates everyone who tries to be nice to him and is trapped in a mire of depression and misanthropy!

FUN!
It's pretty much the same for me, except I want friends but I just don't like anyone I know. Unless, Furb, you're actually subconsciously alienating people.

If I were a movie, then in real life, I would be the theatrical version; whereas online, I would be the Directors Cut (More sex, violence, cursing).

Not too much of a difference between Escapist me and real life me. I'm still opinionated, cynical, weird, random, and sometimes an overall beyotch. I am a little bit more outspoken on the 'net as well, but not by much and I'm also a bit less sweary.

I'm essentially the same as I would be around people I don't really know IRL, never saying much but when I do it's something of value... most of the time.
