Are you a moral or immoral player online?

I'm against glitching, spawn killing and the like, but beyond that, people can play how they like as far as I care. In co-op modes, I do my best to get along with all and expect them to do the same, not that anyone ever does.

It depends on the game. I like finding little areas that nobody else can get to, and I like exploiting them. I would never spawn kill, or cheat in any way. I don't rage, or rage quit either. More than I can say for most people.

I've noticed over the years that morals in online games has been in decline.

By that I mean I seem to come across more and more immoral players in competative play where no mater how chivalrous I act in a match, they will continue to play dirty time and time again.

What I'm trying to say is this: I am a very chivalrous player who will honour the gunners seat to another player. I will let them have the sniper if they beat me to it. I will not spawn kill if it can be avoided and I very rarely give the impression my right trigger is broken until all grenades have been expended.

Do I stand alone?
I play like you, but when people annoy me I make their life a living hell.

And when people take advantage of OP guns and classes ( in case of BC2 and MW2) I like to punish those people by by beating them with underpowered guns and classes and then send them a message reminding them of what happened.

I think the best way to some up my morality online is that if I get given a grenade launcher I'm going to fucking use that beast.

The question I find myself asking, like others previously in the thread, "Am I a dick to people in the view of many people by being a 1337 sp34k1ng d1ckh34d" or "Do I enjoy playing a sneaky class like rogue in WoW, sniper in CoD style games or similar"

The answer to the first is an emphatic no, I want other people to be having fun as well as myself. The answer to the second is a "Hell yeah!" because if you can set up an ambush to wipe somebody from the face of the earth, it gives such a massive hit of a feeling of a job well done.

To use Smerf's example, I would totally shoot a guy who is reloading in game because that is efficient however, I wouldn't corpse camp that guy because that would be being a dick.

yeah, I know that it's hard to corpse camp with fixed spawns but you get my drift.

Mostly moral. But depending on my mood, or the people I'm playing against, I can be pretty immoral.

courtesy, politeness, honor in battle, and other such acts, heck yes i still use them.
some things i dont go with anymore, seeing as online usually just counts victories and defeats, and not "fair play", i tend to just do what secures victory. certainly not like glitches or "noob-tubing", but i keep that little sentence in the back of my mind:

"it only counts wins and losses"
