Now I actually did a psychology course for two years and we covered this topic quite well.

Unfortunately I wasn't paying attention, as my grade later showed.

I think it's something to do with a total lack of "human feeling" though, you know like genuine apathy towards other people's death and/or pain, being able to witness it, and in some cases cause it with absolutely no problem, and in some cases even enjoyment.

But like I say, bad grade over here.

it takes a lot to make me lose my temper, but when i do its bad. kids in school were stealing our football and beating up my friends when they tried to get it back, this pissed me off badly and i jumped on one of them and punched him in the face like six times and knocked him out. this is the only time ive ever really lost my temper in any way, so i don't if thats how it will always be. in short, i may be a bit of a psycho yes, but normally i'm very mellow and my actions were, I feel, acceptable in those circumstances so as to defend my friends and whatnot.

And i've done the same thing to increase my natural defence against poison. You never know when you'll come across some shiny bug/frog/creature and get the unstoppable urge to munch on it.

I commend your preparation. I'll just be building my own shelter, then. And the munchy urge happens more frequently than some people would realize. Just the other day, I saw this large newt, and my first thought was how it would taste. Not that bad, it turns out. Almost like babyfingers.
