Are you able to identify other escapist users?

I don't really care enough or pay attention enough to get a good identification of any other escapists and i assume that it's the same for me as well

I come to identify most people by their names. I don't pay attention to avatars much, actually.

I guess that puts me in the minority.

Usually the avatar or username. I mean sometime that member change avatar but I can remember that person by his/ her username.

No...who the hell are you people? Where am I? What year is it!?

But seriously, I recognize some avatars but I have no idea who anyone is. I have no friends D: (except duckymcfly99, he is my Tom)

Yeah, because all escapist users have a big escapist logo tattooed to their forehead. Whenever I see a fellow scapist on the street I challenge them to a pokemon battle.

Oh, you meant on the escapist.

I go by avatars/ avatar themes, for 'tis pretty easy to put a name to an avatar and an avatar to another avatar.

I know quite a few users by their avatar and username. I remember avatars easier though, so don't come complaining to me when I don't know you after an avatar change.

I recognize a few by username, but most by Avatar. I only really notice the username when someone quotes them.

A good number of them, yes. Some of them by name, some of them by avatar, and some by the style of post.

Seriously, you knpow who wrote some topics without looking at the name.

I recognise avatars first, of course I do, they're meant to draw the eye.

If I don't recognise an avatar, I look at the name, just in case someone decided to change their avatar.

The ones who keep the same avatar for months on end are pretty easy to recognise such as Daystar above me and yeah, I do recognise quite a fair amount of people here by username and their posting style/the opinions they hold which probably speaks to the fact that I really need to get out more. XD

I recognise a few by avatar, most by name and a handful by the way they act on the forums.

Will you hurry up and settle on an avatar Sass?

You're stealing precious millisecond of my life every time I have to indentify you :D

I'm afraid I can't do that, Daystar.
I must continually change, or I might be known as a one avatar guy. This could impact my respect amongst my peers. D:

Of course!...Not that anyone can identify me....

Hey, at-least I'll always recognise you, we can be overshadowed together ;-)

OT: I can actually identify a lot of users here, firstly by avatar but if I see them enough or they are particularly recognisable I'll end up learning their username too. Recognition does depend a lot on where people post though, as I'm primarily an Off-topic/Role-playing User with the occasional foray into Religion and Politics so I won't know those who mainly stick to the Gaming forums and they won't know me.
