I like the game, not adicted however. Usually i maybe play around 3~5 games a day, some days less, some days none. I only play with friends, the game is much more enjoyable that way. If there's not enough friends online to form a full team i don't even bother playing, as the game is just a torture then.

If you want to have fun with the game, you really, really need to find a decent, not serious, group of people to play with. Before i found one i spent 3 months not playing the game, becouse of how annoying random people usually are.

And i guess that's the "addicting" part of the game. It's really fun if you have non-dickish friends to play with.

My friend told me that every new champion is either OV or IMBA. And that he's a copy/parody/plagiarism of other Dota/HoN characters. I don't know to what extent this is true, but I can definitely see some influence here and there ... for example, can you tell me that Akali DOESN'T Remind you of Mileena/Kitana/Jade from Mortal Kombat? Or Cho'Gath doesn't AT ALL look like a Zerg/Tyranid, or that clown from Spawn?

but I did recently have a friend over who knew and has spent many hours playing dota and I told him charateristics and abilitys and he said things like "oh just like" "basiclly just dota and dota hero put together"

what surprised him was the backstorys and the...the the thing which teel you the daily goings on in valorean which he gave his approval of "not property of dota" seal to

what might've caused this is that many people who worked on DoTa went toff to make HoN and LoL

It's kind of a shitty game. The towers die stupidly fast, Purchased heroes are so much powerful than the free ones (Garrus has no Mana bar for some reasons, So he only relies on cooldowns) and the Map is small and uninspiring, which results on limited tactics.

I think those who say HON is better are elitist as last hiting/denying is as easy as in LoL and HON has more fiddlesticks type "Press R to win" champions that even someone who is bad at the game can dominate with.

Last hitting in HoN is much harder, given that the enemy has the chance to compete with every last hit. It's an active battle to both get gold/exp and deny it to the enemy. Auto attacks also tend to do more damage in HoN. And what "press R to win champs" are you talking about? HoN is MUCH harder than LoL in pretty much every way. Your post reeks of the ignorance that comes from people who hate HoN because it's not LoL.

I played it for a little bit but the constant bashing turned me off. I'm more of a friendly guy and I always want more people to play, I don't bash noobs, I don't help them either but I like to encourage them to keep playing and bring more players.
the LoL community is bad enough to make me not want to play too much of it. At most I play for 1 or 2 games per week

I play it, but I am not addicted. I might play one or two games if playing solo, but that's it. It's kinda fun, but it just has so many problems it hurts. If playing with friends, though, I might play 5 or 6 games....then not want to play it again for a week. Usually how it goes.

Honestly, the community is also just horrible. There are worse, but if you're a new player interested in LoL....just don't. Wait for DOTA 2, and start when that comes out. Community will be shit, but atleast you'll all be noobs.....kinda. Sorta.
