I like to think that I'm not afraid of death, but I can't really say until I'm in a life-or-death situation.

I don't worry myself with what comes after death. I'm an atheist so I don't imagine there will be much more than the sudden euphoria that comes naturally with the brain shutting down followed by nothingness.

Though I do always make sure to keep two pennies in my pocket, on the off chance that I need to cross the River Styx.

Nope. Non religious and not afraid of death. What I AM afraid of is:
1. Pain
2. Starting something yet not being able to finish it because I died (Only if other people know about it and are counting on me to finish it).

Judging by my recent actions, no, not really; what I am afraid of is dying painfully.

I'm going to go with Dumbledore and say that death is the last adventure. It's something we all have to do, and if there's something on the other side, you might as well have a good story to tell. If there's nothing afterwards, then I can take solace knowing that I won't remember any of it.

That said, I'm not done yet, so I'd like to stay living. At some point in the span of humanity, there will be a God, and if I can't serve one during my life, then I'd like to help the human race become one.

Not as much as some people here.

Honestly, the only thing about death that really concerns me is getting caught by a serial killer that likes to torture victims right and live the last moments of my life in fear and pain.

Other than that, not too much. Kind of hoping I don't die before I reach my peak and burst out of my bubble a bit, but really not too worried about pure nothingness.

I don't think I'm "afraid" of death. It's the end, I no longer have to deal with any of the complete bullshit that life throws at you.
I do want to live, at least until I get out of my house and get to live and be alone and not have to deal with people. Well, I still have to deal with people from time to time, but at least I get to go home and have silence waiting for me.

I'm an Atheist....so, when I'm dead - I'm gone. I was gone for the most part of the last 13 Billion years and it didn't bother me. Why should it bother me when I'm dead?

I was perfectly fine not existing for the previous 12ish billion years and I am certain the last billions of years will be no different. I did get a rather poor start in life however, I'd prefer to experience the good parts before I go back to sleep, now that I've wiped the shit from my face.

I accept death as a part of life, but I am more afraid of what would happen after death and the thought of no long existing in this world

I am not so much afraid of dying as I am of living. When the time comes for me to die, I will face it, as it is my, and all of our destinies. It is the way things are. That is true for people of all religions.

"Everybody's gotta die sometime, Red." -Starcraft 1 Wraith, quoting some movie I've never seen.
I'm not afraid of death, per se, just more or less the lack of my existence after me leaving. It's a strange thing, to realize that the world can exist totally without you. I also question whether or not if I'm going to be able to make a large impact on the world--I want something to let me be known beyond my death.

Death is a natural part of life and in that context, I do not fear it. Would I want to pass away anytime soon? No, there are still things that I wish to accomplish, so I remain cautious at all times.

It's one of those things that is beyond our compression. Yes I'm kinda scared of dying, but I'm also curious as to what comes after. Eternal darkness or something more?

Personally, I don't fear it unless I am in a situation where I am feeling particularly loved. Those are the moments that I will miss, and I am afraid of missing them. I know I won't feel anything once it's all over, but that little fear still pops up every once in a while.

I'm also not afraid of any particular type of death. I would perhaps prefer a bloody struggle to a silent bullet from across the street. Just holding my life in my own hands in my last moments is all I need before I go. Maybe take the bugger with me.

Kinda weird, I never plan for just sleeping away or anything. And now that I think about it, I never want to die in an accident. I'd prefer a peaceful old age kind of thing, or a last chance in a conflict over just hitting my head on a rock or something. No glory in such a death.

far more terrified of re-incarnation. I'd have to go through school all over again and that's super gay. When I'm dead I'm hoping there's an afterlife like "The Big Lebowski" where I can bowl and smoke weed for the rest of eternity.
