Are you an online loser?

Wait a second this probably doesn't mean what you think.

I want to know how often you lose to people online and how to react when you do.

I hate losing online but I generally do. No matter how much I train, no matter how hard I try I always lose to someone who has probably spent more hours playing the game than I have. Or maybe someone who is just better than me.

I'm not a sore loser by any means but I do get a sense of satisfaction when I shoot someone in the back of the head in Black Ops. The only COD game I've ever played at my cousins. First time COD player, felt great.

So, do you get any satisfaction from winning? Do you win often? Or do you lose?

Not really.
The only online games I tend to play are FPS's and RTS's, and I'm very good at both of them.
Sure, I lose occasionally, but it isn't THAT big of a deal.

Doesn't matter if I win or lose. Depends if my team decided to play or just sit there and stare at walls and/or teamkill. Thats really the only thing that matters to me, having a team that actually plays.

Do you kick people off your team if they are...well pretty much crap?

For the love of god! It's lose! Lose not loose!

OP: Sometimes, I win a lot more than I lose and my reaction changes depending on what game it is. I tend to rage harder at Street Fighter than I do CoD.

I tend to suck at mutiplayer games. It just takes too much focus for my ADHD mind. So if I lose I lose with dignity, and not rage quit nor make comments of the vile things I'd do to one's mother.

Unless I play with other people, yeah, I'm a try hard.

For some reason, my enjoyment of a game is usually proportional to my K/D Ratio.

That's kind of embarassing.

But, when I play with other people, all I really care about is having fun.

This guy's a robot.

Trust me.

OT: Oh, and, also, I suck at most games.

Especially PC ones.

The only games I've really ever been any good at are Battlefield 2 and Black Ops. Possibly Top Spin 3.

*lose. lose! LOSE! god damnit!

OT: Depends on the game, my mood and how hot it is.
No really, the temperature affects my skill level, if it's too hot I simply can't concentrate.

Agreed.

Years as an FPSer here, and nothing irritates me more than a crippled team. I can't count the number of times on MW where I decided to switch to a gunner role cause my team couldn't grasp the concept of taking down helis.

Otherwise, I'm not bothered by a poor match from time to time. It occasionally happens, even to the best of us.

No. I have no problem playing with people who are bad at games. I have a problem with people intentionally sabotaging the game by not playing(AFK's) or team-killing like a douche.

Lose, not loose!
WHARRGARBL!!!

But no, I don't mind losing unless the opponent is blatantly cheating and I can't do anything about it.

Depends on the game. COD i usually win, fairly often with flying colours.
Halo... not so much. The odd win.
Skate 2/3 - I win a fair bit unless theres a really dedicated player in the server.
Everything else i do .. alright

Oh, and HAWX.. i dominate HAWX (Sound effects whilst playing!)

I'll quietly rage at my team if they're standing around picking their noses instead of trying to win. I can't bring myself to play objective-based games in Modern Warfare after finding everyone's more obsessed with killstreaks than the objectives. I'm usually okay with losing. I'll even get beat 8 games in a row on SSBB by my brother and not feel too bad.

Generally if it's an FPS, as long as I do good, I don't mind what the end result is - and I usually do perform well. I know if sad, but if I'm breaking even on MW2 I feel I've been playing bad. Too much Battlefield has me bringing up the scoreboard whenever I aim at enemies now, reflex action trying to marker them.

I tend to win more than I lose. When I am on a crappy team, I usually end up being a top scorer, because I am actually making a concerted effort to win the match. Hopefully, I get a few followers, and make a little strike force to win the match. Other times, I am just the lone wolf, who takes alternate routes instead of running into chokepoints like a lemming.

While having heated battles is mostly fun, losing more than five games in a row starts to turn me off.

Losing rounds/matches doesn't make me rage that much in games (I don't even pay attention to it that much), it's being killed.

Shit like lagging, random critical hits (*flips off TF2's critical hit chances), insta-kills, dying a step before being under cover, or worst of all, getting killed by the same person multiple times.

I rage a lot, even though I'm good at TF2, I'm usually the MVP.

Pokemon battles online are generally a win for me, but as far as FPS's go, I depend on my team to pick up the slack when I get those negative Kill death ratios. It was for this reason that my team mates usually wanted me strictly on rockets shooting down UAV's and kill streaks on Modern Warfare 2.

I never let anyone know if i'm annoyed. I only ever talk in party chat with my friends, and sometimes your just gonna get grouped up with players who are poor.

So long as i have more kills than deaths, or i scored more objectives than everyone else, i really don't mind what the final score is.
