When I'm not being plagued with acne, my username becomes very appropriate. At least acne doesn't affect my physique.

You should go to the dermatologist. They can fix that. Seriously, I went a while back and I'm pretty clear skinned these days.

While that is a good suggestion, there are two problems for me. One, I'm strapped for cash. Two, my brother visited dermatologists very often for his acne, which was pretty much on the same order of magnitude as mine currently is, which isn't severe by any means, but is still noticeable and confidence-draining. Nothing they gave him helped.

Still, thanks for the advice.

Yet I've dated my share of men and women, which just shows attractiveness isn't all in how we look. I may not be a the best looking, but that doesn't mean I'm not attractive/sexy. Sexiness is moreso how you carry yourself than pure appearances, n'est-ce pas?

Well admittedly, insurance would be very nice in that situation.

Personally, nothing they did helped me for a long time, either. Then, they gave me some powerful medicine called Accutane, but it also has huge negative effects. I literally had to have a monthly blood test because it could affect your liver. Also, it's been linked to suicide. Oh, and terrible birth defects. Someone I know looked through a medical book and the medicine had a huge list of side effects. It's major stuff, but it gets the job done.

Well, it was actually a generic version. The actual medicine would have cost me something like $300 a month as my insurance wouldn't cover it.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm unattractive. I used to think that I was simply average, but unattractive makes more sense at this point. This is for the following reasons.

1. I've not had a girlfriend, which at my age (19) is not so good.
2. The only women that I've ever noticed were attracted to me were ones that creeped me the hell out.
3. The only girl I ever thought I was comfortable with turned me down.

And this isn't me just being emo and brooding because "girls don't like me". I've come to terms with my disorder and am actually quite happy with my life. I just happen to be of the conclusion that I am unattractive.
