Yes, I have been told that by my friends, family, people who I'm just meeting for the first time, etc.
Screw people

Not many people are going to say "Did you know that you are really awkward?" because that would be really fucking awkward.

Only around girls mostly.
Other than that, I'm ok in most situations

No, can't say I am. But my best friend is a tad bit awkward at moments. And i've talked to awkward people.

Sigh...

Me: Can i sit here?
Her: I'm not stopping you
Me: Thanks
Silence for like 6 minutes
Me:You want my Chocolate Cookie?
Her: Sure. Thanks.
Silence for like 3 more minutes.
Me: My names Adrian. What's yours?
Her: Are you hitting on me?
Me: You accepting?
*Watch alarm goes off, have to go back to school.*
You accepting? made me laugh so much, and i don't know why, thank you good sir.
I wasn't laughing. It was like watching college stand-up.
How? I mean you were involved, I mean if you said it was like performing stand-up.

I'm awkward, the really shy kind of it, but I found out that if I make the other person awkward, too, I could get out of feeling weird and uncomfortable. Pull the person down to your level and you get a little step up. I've even told someone that I was gay randomly, and then said that I was kidding. Kind of a joke to break the ice sort of thing.

I am akward around the police, I was once asked "what is your Birthday" I responded "thank you", it was my birthday ☺.
That's awesome. I once responded to a "happy birthday," with a "happy birthday" because I didn't know what to say... To my defense, I was like, seven. Not that it's much of a defense.

Used to be, not anymore. I decided I'm way more gnarly than anybody else, so why be shy?
This, basically. It has been brought to my attention that I'm sexy!

You ever been told or said you were awkward? I don't mean obvious things like thrusting your pelvis at the person you are speaking to directly but in general have you talked to someone and then they said you were awkward.

I got told I was awkward the other day when I was queueing for BBQ food and just being friendly I asked a girl (or cow even) who I had known already, where she got the dress from and she just said I was awkward and I argued with her for a while.
i've been called awkward because i was hip thrusting whilst talking to people and standing really close behind some one and whispering somthing or breathing down their neck but not because i'm awkward to talk to. I'm awkward in the way you don't mean...

I am one of the most awkward people in this world, both socially and with friends. Its great to be awkward though because you know, that way, you have the best friends/girlfriends because they can put up with you being awkward meaning they really like you :D

Around new people, I am. Like a fucking cat, or something.

I almost had a mental breakdown ordering a burger and milkshake from McDonalds. I don't think I'm going to function well in the real world...

I'm apparently awkward because I tell bad jokes. I call them awkward for not laughing nervously enough.

But seriously, nah, not been called awkward since school and all the people that called me awkward are friendless arseholes now.

Nobody has to tell me. I just am.

"Here's your ticket, miss."
"...thanks."
"Enjoy the movie."
"You too."
*walks three steps then facepalms*

I need to level up in social skills...
