Nothing.

But certain things do make me want to punch certain people in the painful places.

On a whole, humanity has a lot of potential. I want to see at least SOME of it come to fruition.

That may require some people being punched in the painful places, luckily :D
I'll join you.

We should start a club.

We need a cool name.

Like, The Mighty Ducks!
careful, Disney may want a word with you.

OT: I get an overwhelming sense of rage when I see someone abusing a girl. but I acknowledge that some people are just fucking dogs.

Can we punch them just before they've eaten?

We should probably keep Sandberg out of the group though

I think he's onto something guys, we should take this demonstration of our possible effectiveness into account.

This, this and more this.
This planet is awesome, and so are my friends, and a good portion of people on it.
Then there are the 'others'. We shall fire them into the sun once we convince them the rocket has a buffet.

Urgh. Just urgh. Some times I wish I didn't exist so I couldn't feel the rage and disappointment I feel towards much of the world!
We could have gone so much further by now! I don't want to blame religion as I don't want to start a debate or flame war, as the answer is "we don't know", but I can think of little more maddeningly destructive than religion and the way it's been manipulated by the corrupt and demented.

What makes you feel so fed up, that you wish you could leave this rock?

( "Pals^-1" Captcha? really?)
*Plays dumb*

So, where you off to then?

But no seriously, it gets better, so stick around.

Nothing has ever made me want to leave. I want to be here for my nephew and niece and to validate the good life I've had by giving back somehow. It ain't easy but I've never gotten so angry that I thought everything is beyond redemption.

I was thinking Betelgeuse-9 or Magrathea.
Considered going to Titan, but thought better of it.
Guess I'll just head for the nearest Quasar and see what floats around those psychotically magnetic...things and just explore for a while.

It does get better, I know, but I've already seen what it's like, so....
When you've got a mind that can't even replay games once without falling into boredom due to a strange ability to remember everything, seeing something over and over and over again gets boring...

SO I'M GONNA GO CHECK OUT PLUTO!

Nope, nothing has made me want to leave the planet or destroy or lose faith in humanity for years. Right about the time I stopped being an angsty teen as I recall, funny that.
Not, that I'm saying the situation of anyone here is angsting. I was merely referring to myself.

So, nothing makes me feel like I want to leave. I just look at all the good aspects of the world and my own life and I can see that they far outweigh any bad aspects I could list.

There's some good people, and there's a lot of fuckers. I say we stay here and get rid of the fuckers... or make them less shitty.
Wait, you can do that, right?

When people think I'd be interested in their ignorance, I cry a tiny bit inside. This comes out as an eye twitch, since often the conflation of "comment" and "ignorance" is a statement of "TL;DR".

However I don't really think I have a choice in the matter regarding whether I stay on this planet or not. I can't say it's miserable because it truly is beautiful and wonderful, but I can't say it's perfect because it is decidedly not.

Oddly appropiate for your Futurama link, sometimes Creationists make me want to leave this rock. They try to pass it as science without coming forward with any credible proof, that is just not they way science works.

He means take action and do something or STFU.

And yeah, I agree with him. People are always complaining about life. Mostly the people with electricity, a home, tap water and internet connection. Because, you know, you can't really be sick of the world without linking a Futurama quote. I mean, how can this world be worth living in when random pop star X gets random prize Y.

Like the song goes: It's curious, scandalous, don't be so furious; Life is a bad joke, don't take it serious.

Count me in, I'll help from the moon.
Even though I've already left, reconnaissance is so easy from up here, so maybe I'll give you information on who needs to be punched in painful places.

Also there's some crazy duck with a cane up here, I figure we can use him to justify the name.
Someone start a group fir this, I'm in! My nuclear-powered airship will be of great use.

Politieke Barometer [http://www.synovate.nl/content.asp?targetid=621]

The current dutch polls. The fact that VVD (a bunch of right wing neoliberal douchnozzles) and PVV (a bunch of conservative left wing anti immigration, anti multiculturelism & anti free-speach (except their own) douchnozzles) are the two biggest parties in the polls.

This is what i mean, the current spending cuts policy of the government involves shaving off a lot of spending everywhere (instead of actual reform). Part of this is plan involves shoving off a lot of national responsibilities onto the local governments, who's funding is then cut. On the local political level there now is across the board (including PVV and VVD) political consensus that this just won't work (financially mathematically), still on the national level the idiots persists. Add to that the revanchism of the current government (all things left-wing, social securities, green economics, nature preservation, cultural subsidies are being hit by disproportionate and often pointless spending cuts). And they still have the bloody support of the bloody populous.

Oh if your wondering, the party I support (even became a member and everything) is GreenLeft (GL) 8 out of 150 seats, yay......

EDIT:

That it! I just went to one of my political news site/blog thingy and found this: VVD geen uitkering voor Occupy Betogers [http://www.joop.nl/leven/detail/artikel/vvd_geen_uitkering_voor_occupybetogers/]

Translation: VVD no welfare for Occupy protesters

You may want to know that VVD is short for Vrede Vrijheid Democratie, translation Peace Freedom Democracy. Why are the parties with the word freedom in their names the ones who are trying to take ours away? (PVV = Partij voor de Vrijheid, translation Party for Freedom.)

I think you are overreacting and blowing whatever trivial problems you may have with a select few bad apples way out of proportion. This is just a classic case of the grass always being greener on the other side.

Seriously, imagine living in somewhere in the third world, and now think about your current situation. Not that bad eh? oh sure, some people somewhere are dicks and close-minded, boohoo.

But really, there are some 1.4 billion people that live below the poverty line, you are lucky to be part of the group of people that can afford to whine about their problems on the internet. That alone should tell you that you do not live in such terrible conditions that it warrants leaving this planet for some uninhabitable desolate rock.
