No. But that's not to say that I'm not going to get mad when playing games.

Like, I've played a couple shitty rounds of Guardian on Gears 2 where no one helps me defend the leader but also no one will kill the other leader so it's a stalemate until I try to run out and kill their leader, but as I'm on my way there a big message comes up on my screen that says "YOUR LEADER IS DEAD" or something... but I don't rage. Everyone has shitty matches.

But what does make me rage the fuck out is Gears 2 on Insane. Especially near the end where it amps up the difficulty to the point where you move your head out of cover for a second and die. When I'm playing the same level over and over and over again continually dying without even having the chance to do anything, THAT is when I rage and turn off the console.

I know I am. I get really annoyed at things. When my Halo 3 disk broke, I really had to hold it back due to the fact that my friend was in the house. I had gone to get it fixed after Gamestation had managed to fix both my CoD games, and it broke completely. I'm not joking, I would have smashed through the wall if he wasn't there. Recently, my L4D disk mysteriously broke and kept freezing my console, and I threw the pack off the ground, smashing little green shards of xbox-themed plastic onto the ground.

When it comes to playing online, I also can find myself thanking God I don't have a swear-jar.
YAY!!! Someone who does what i do! I thought i was the only one. When i am by myself, i see red and start swearing at the damn thing, like yesterday when the 360 wouldn't read L4D vertically, but it would horizontally. I'm very restrained when i'm at a mates or when a mates with me though. The only game I swear at though is Pro Evo Soccer. Such an unfair game...

I only ever seem to get angry when I'm playing online. Normally that leads to a torrent of abuse being hurled at the TV (I don't use my headset).

What are you insinuating? That perhaps I get aggravated during certain gaming sessions and such makes me a bad person? Well good day to you sir for when you insult my prowess of gaming emotion control well that is just where I draw the line. I said good day, sir.
On a serious note, I don't really get annoyed to an extreme extent with games unless I'm wandering around for an hour wondering where the fuck I'm going or supposed to be doing, or if I'm facing a boss with an extreme amount of damage resistance, an extremely long health bar, or something of that sort while I'm armed with a BB Gun or the equivalent of a point-ed stick.

Ya, gaming for me is very stressful, yet enjoyable. I'll be having fun for hours, then suddenly one thing will irritate me in the slightest, and I'll go insane with rage. Maybe because it's stress relief?

I honestly have never gotten frustrated by a game. But then I never play games on their highest difficulty settings either...

Online I don't get frustrated, 'cos my game of choice is TF2, and that game is just too cathartic to get pissed at even if you're getting your arse kicked.

Should be "In a word: yes." You've just been grammar nazi'd.

[sub] Sorry, I just did it for funsies [/sub]
Dude, was that really necessary? I'm a self-confessed Grammar Nazi, but even I don't go that far. *laughs*

And going back to the original topic: Team Fortress 2 has the ability to turn me into a raging nutcase if I'm up against the right (or wrong, as the case may be) people. My fellow TF2 players will probably be quite familiar with the rage-inducing "dying from burns three feet away from a medkit" scenario.

I get severe nerd rage doing multiplayer in COD4.

Especially when I make the same stupid mistakes over and over, such as trying to revenge kill that camping sniper who just put me down 6 times...

My flatmates are kind of scared of me I think as some days all they hear is 'FUCK! FUCK YOU! FUCK!'

BTW I do not swear into my headset at people, it is switched off when I play usually.

When I'm playing an FPS online, (although its usualy with COD or DOD) and I'm having a bad day. Constantly being shot by some camping noob or killed by a spawn killer...it just gets really old fast

I only get frustrated if I think the game is cheating me. Or is just plain unfair. Or if I play Counter Strike Source. I tend to get very frustrated at that game.

There's a fist shaped hole in my wall from where my swordsman lost a fight with a warrior on Civ 4 with 99.9% combat odds.

I smashed my mouse to pieces when, as a spy (I only play spy), I encountered a team of what seemed like all pyros in tf2. Luckily, it was only a ?20 basic micorosft one. How FUCKING annoying is it when you're killed by a talentless shitgimp who's just randomly spraying his flamethrower like some deranged and rabid sadist? Very.
Alternatively, how frustrating is it to only be able to play one class, the class that is most easily countered and arguably the third most useless class in the game?

Henry from No More Heroes on Bitter with the Blood Berry and no health, strength, or combo upgrades.

I have never gotten frustrated or angry while playing a game. I just get minorly annoyed at online trash-talkers, when people spawn-kill, if dying sends me far back in the level, and if a single boss keeps killing me over and over and over...........

But still, it's only minor annoyance that crosses my mind for a spit-second.

I have ADHD, so I REALLY get into my games. If Im on CoD online, Im always standing, and if Im being shot at, I duck my head in the direction away from the bullets in real life. I know I make an ass of myslef infront of people when I play, but hey, thats what ADHD does, and it makes me damn good at CoD. Makes me very alert and focused.

OT: So with my ADHD, I get very angry at games like CoD online when I die to a camper, claymore, if I lose a sniper battle, irritating stuff like that. I find myself cursing. A lot.

theres only 2 things in games that really frustrate me.
1. when you die and you have to restart the level, and levels are incredibly long.
2. when you have to rely on allies and they are "pants on head retarded"(Yahtzee)

What frustrates me to the point of actually losing my cool with games is when either the game ramps up the difficulty suddenly for no real reason and starts subjecting me to cheap deaths or fails or when the game turns out to have such shoddy controls and/or level design that it seems nearly impossible to accomplish anything.

One other thing, and this will drive me to destruction of the game disc itself or deletion of the downloaded file (in the case of some Xbox or Wii games), is when the game is so buggy that it causes frequent freezes, restarts or just screws up my computer or game system in some way.

One example is Guild Wars. I used to like that game fairly well. Then I decided to upgrade my videocard so I could play some newer games I had gotten with better framerates and textures etc. The new video card worked great with those and some older games I already had. But, my Guild Wars game now loaded with terrible looking graphics and became very unstable. I had the newest drivers installed for the card and the latest patches for the game but it still didn't work. I wasn't about to uninstall my brand new card for the sake of playing Guild Wars so I uninstalled the game and threw the disc and box away in disgust. Then stomped in the trash can, crushing the box and breaking the disc.

I also uninstalled Universe at War for 360 in enough anger to destroy that disc and box too because it played so terribly on my console (looked like I was trying to run it on a PC that didn't meet the minimum system requirements), but I thought better of it and just traded it in. Love the game on my PC though.
