As for me, not really, unless someone goes to way-too-extreme lengths to try and piss me off, then they'll get what's coming to them. Though there is one small place in my heart where a button you do not push or it reigns down the thunder. That's a small place and a hard to find button so it's almost trivial to try and find it.

That doesn't prove that I care about you, your opinions or anything really other than the fact that I care about a conversation at hand.

Which in turn confirms my earlier claim that I log on to messageboards to talk.

You see, I don't have to care about you personally in order to talk to you. For all I care your house could get hit by a meteor right now, killing you in the process. In fact, if that happened I might even find something joyous about such an event (being the misanthrope that I am). And even if that means that the conversation would end, I could just as easily find someone else to interact with.

You're just conveniently at hand, that's all.

Person #1: This is my favorite band.
me: Oh... okay. I just don't really like the whiney vocals.
Person: How can you not like the vocals? The lyrics are beautiful, the guy has a great singing voice. I think you just have no taste in music!

No, I am the offender.

I find the more open minded a person is, the harder they are to offend. If I make a joke about the Holocaust (which I do. With Jewish friends. And not just the oven one, I have some creative ones) and you get offended, then I KNOW you are close minded. How do I know that? Because you think of other people as being one dimensional. My Chinese friend loves Asian jokes. I call him a c**** all the time. High minded white people can not possible conceive that other races have the intelligence to understand that it is JUST A JOKE! Textbook reverse racism. And reverse sexism too. Women and minorities DO NOT NEED YOUR PROTECTION. So, I guess the thing that offends me is white males trying to push equality and ending up putting everyone else on a pedestal. In summary: Ignorance offends me. Sorry for the wordy response.
