I don't mean that in a crazy way lol. I mean, when you look at it, do you fondly remember so much time spent having fun with it or could you just throw it away without hesitation and grab a new one?

Yessum. I still have my original PSOne controller in my cupboard somewhere. Usually, when I get rid of a console to get the next gen's one, I keep the controller

Nope. None of the current gen ones last long enough for that to happen.

But close to that, i have gotten really attached to my mouse. That little bugger has lasted me more than 6 years now, and still won't die on me. God I love that little thing.

In Trust we trust. Heh... see what I did there.

No, if I'm going to be emotionally attached to something it needs to be important to me, like the hat my pop-pop gave me before he died, not my Xbox 360 controller with the broken left bumper.

I was quite attached to the red 360 controller I have, but mostly because it's not entirely normal. Now that the connectors to both battery packs and AA batteries are broken, I've stopped using it.
So no, I guess not.

No. My controller is marked and shiz from being used a lot - but I would happily buy a new one.

My old PS2 controller was a bit different - I didn't have any emotional attachment or anything to it, but I always used that one. Then again, that may have been because I gnawed the rubber covering on the analogue sticks off...so I guess no one else really wanted to use it. Le sigh.

About as emotionally attached as I am to £30. I'd be annoyed if I lost it but nothing more.

My original Gamecube controller. Came with the 'cube still works perfectly today. Most fun I've ever had with a controller without a shadow of a doubt. No-one else gets to use it. ever.

If handhelds are included, my Limited edition pokémon gameboy colour (still played) and my DS Lite (Died after 5 years of perfect service. Tens of thousands of hours played. will be missed.) Both of them have been special to me, for the hours of Pokémon and Zelda (and fire emblem and TWEWY and Advance wars...)

I wouldn't say i'm ATTACHED to my 360 controller so much as i won't let anyone else use it. and even then only because I have seen the way all of my friends treat theirs. Lets just say there's a reason you can still feel the "snap" on the shoulder buttons for my stick...

I've had my Xbox 360 controller since the release on Nov 22 2005. It's even outlasted my original xbox and I hope it has the honour of completing Skyrim. It will be 5 years old then. The left bumper is stiff as fuck and the rubber has come off a teensy bit on both sticks. Fortunately, I have a few tech savvy friends so if it breaks I'll just replace the necessary parts.

Ive always had "my" controller that I would take to a friends house no matter how many pads he owned. Nes, SNES, Genesis, dream cast, PSX, xbox.

I now own a 360 and all the pads feel the same so I'm not so fussed. I don't know if its build quality or what but my controller feels no different than anyone elses this gen.

Seeing as I accidentally knock mine over at least once a day, not really.

No. In fact I have a great deal of animosity for my PS3 controller, it's forced motion controls, flimsy design, and built in battery pack. Me and my 360 controller are good buds though.

I'm not sure if I'm emotionally attached to my controller, but I'm not crazy about other people using it.
