I don't buy all DLC that comes for a game but some DLC I enjoy. I'm not a big fan of it but when something that has a lot of story like this one comes out for a game I enjoyed a lot I'll buy it. Just because I made the choice to buy it doesn't really warrant insulting me for no reason whatsoever.Liquidcathedral said:because dlcs should've been implemented when the game came out, i don't want to pay well over 7$(there are like 5 dlc items, each costing 7$) just for a few hours of dlc content. thats why it makes you dumb, you're paying more than you should for a game.Cyrax987 said:Why does that make someone dumb to buy DLC? Some people like to play stuff that expands on the story and enjoy the game a lot. Kind of rude if you ask me.Liquidcathedral said:heres a better idea, don't buy it, just watch a utube vid of it, someone thats dumb enough to buy a dlc.Cyrax987 said:I tried searching the forums for a thread on this but found nothing. Just want to know who else is excited for the new DLC for Mass Effect 2 coming out tomorrow. I for one am completely excited mainly it was pure crap on Bioware's part to take a lively character from the first game and completely strip her down in the sequel.
This is also suppose to be the first of many DLCs that bridges the gap between Mass Effect 2 and 3 and solves questions between Mass Effect 1 and 2.
What are your thoughts?
There were no sex scenes.Judas Iscariot said:Meh. More shitty, poorly thought out DLC thats only selling point is shoehorning Liara back into the story. No doubt complete with new sex scene.
Biowares DLC team deserves to be lined up and shot.
No you are able to play the new DLC on your character that beat the main game or you can play the mission during your main Mass Effect 2 game.Zhukov said:Yeah... sorta.
I'll probably pick it up eventually. I rather liked Liara in ME1 (meheheh) and I'm curious as to where the whole Shadow Broker business goes.
But do I really have to play the game from the beginning to use the new DLC? That sounds kind of annoying. Not a huge bother, since I'm going to replay ME2 eventually anyway, but still annoying.
When I'm called dumb that is typically an insult but whatever, and no only DLC that has really an impact on the plot have I bought. I never bought the Kasumi DLC since that was pretty much just a new squadmate.Liquidcathedral said:you asked for my thoughts, bro, i'm an honest bro. you took it as an insult bro.Cyrax987 said:I don't buy all DLC that comes for a game but some DLC I enjoy. I made a thread asking peoples thoughts on the DLC not to get insulted for pretty much no reason at all.
Back on topic by the way, I bought the DLC today and it was pretty awesome to me. It had great story and quite a bit of dialogue in it and the ending was pretty great. They mixed it up a bit with the locations and the car chase was pretty awesome.
also, that means you buy every dlc because all of biowares dlcs are related to the story.
