I like all everything, but the things that I would describe myself as a fanboy of are as follow: Mr.Show with Bob and David(#1), DC (but we all remember two years ago your first avatar was the BPRD logo. Okay okay, Hellboy too 90% of my comics are DC, 9% are hellboy, and one percent are mirage (teenage mutant ninja turtles)), and Bioware.

Rammstein, German and Microsoft Windows. <3

Going with Windows, even though I own an iPhone, I'm still a little "grr face" when I hear someone claim that Mac OS is better.
Not that I care... that much. :D

I'd like to think not, because I am willing to accept that there are flaws in everything that I like, and am perfectly happy to accept that other people have different opinions to me regarding things that I love.

But maybe I just haven't yet stumbled across something to get fanboy-ish over. I think everyone probably has the potential to become a fanboy, it's just a case of finding the right catalyst.

I used to be a major Halo fan-boy round about until every game after 3. The books, I still love. Enough though Contact Harvest seemed to throw a small wrench into the continuity gears. Not as much as the fucking steel elephant Reach threw into it. WTF, bungie? Now the Halo series is...well, an afterthought. Of course, I've gone off just about all game series nowadays, since there aren't that many. Just constant sequels.

For me i am a doctor who fanboy. I do not care if it is cheesey, it is entertaining and i love the characters.
Same here. I never got into the old series (I.E. The entire eight first doctors), but I love the new series with a passion, especially since Karen Gillan joined. Favourite Doctor will always be the ninth. He was lulzy, but when he turned badass, he turned super badass. Eccleston (SP?) is the man.

Massive Liverpool FC fan.

Have the crest tattoo'd on my left arm.

Go and watch them every chance I get. Went to watch them as a teenager when Ian Rush had his retirement match and he shook my hand on the way past, I ran around yelling like a moron "Ian Rush shook my hand HE SHOOK MY HAND", yep felt like a bit of a tit afterwards.

- Valve (like many, many others)
- Hellsing (Attempted, I haven't even seen every OVA let alone read the manga. Not for lack of trying...)
- Novels by the author Brent Weeks (Night Angel Trilogy).
- Novels by the author Garth Nix (Old Kindgdom Trilogy).
- The film and novel Let The Right One In.
- Scott Pilgrim (& vs The World).

Before i answer lemme start by bringin' up th'fact that it was exactly 18 years ago yesterday that the greatest series of my entire childhood was introduced to the world...

Yes, i'm talkin' about Mighty Morphin Power Rangers!!!

I'm also a fan of DC comics (Nightwing and Green Arrow are my 2 main guys), and the WWE (My fave guy just recently had to retire, but i still rock my Rated-R Spinner belt, and my autographed ECW title), but my main one ('least as far as those that know me say) is the Power Rangers...

I have a replica of the original communicator from MMPR, a collection of various morphers throughout th'series 18-year history, and a Green Ranger helmet...

So yeah...to all my fellow Fanboys/Girls....may the Power protect you!

I'm a huge Puella Magi Madoka Magica fan. Yeah, that show isn't even a year old yet and I'm completely obsessed with it.

A few things:

PC gaming: I am a massive fanboy for it. But rare is the fact that I think its perfect, but I know that its not for everyone.

The Battlefield series: yeah fuck all this origin bullshit paranoia. You are all over reacting.

Valve and steam: Okay, despite what I said earlier, Steam is still 120% better than Origin. And I love TF2, Half Life and Counter strike.

Black isle and Obsidian Fallouts: Fuck Bethesda's half baked mess of a canon ruining story. It ushered in new and easy to play gameplay, but thats all fallout 3 did other than fuck up story canon. Fallout New Vegas does not in any way deserve any of the hate it gets, especially when compared with Fallout 3 who arguably did a shitload of things worse.

I'm pretty sure there is more, but I can't think of it right now.

Pretty much anything made by Bohemia Interactive, there is no developer that can make a millitary sim like them.

Doctor Who and Google. I get a raging hard-on for them both. Also, Joss Whedon

As for lesser fanboy-ism (They have flaws, and I'll accept them if someone points them out)
Star Wars (1-3 Did suck, and 4-6 has its flaws)
Vavle (Though I don't know of any flaws on their own fault)
Bioware (I hear Dragon Age 2 sucks, but I'm still a fanboy)
Windows 7 (Yes, I will swear by it)
Chrome
Firefox

Anti-Fanboy (These are things I hate)
Apple (They're good inovators, but they're expensive, and once they tap a new market, they do the least they can to keep inovating it. Reminds me of Microsoft back in the 90's)
Microsoft (Anything that isn't Windows 7 and the Xbox 360)
Nintendo (Seriously, Wii U has the graphical capability of the PS3 apparently... which means they're still 5 years behind)

I really hate being referred to as a 'fangirl'. The connotations are incredibly negative in my fandoms.

I am a -fan- (not a 'fangirl') of Chris Patton, the New York Dolls, CAKE, and Trigun. :p
cake the band or the cake the delicous foodstuffs?
Yes. :p

Both, but mostly the band. Got to see them live, nearly peed myself with happiness (not literally).

Many things. Mass Effect, Homeworld, Scrubs. But there is one that stands out from the rest.

Warhammer 40k. It's got SPACE-BOURNE BATTLE-CATHEDRALS! How can you not love that?
