Nope. The last CoD game I got was MW2 and it was a mistake. I only play single player so I felt ripped off by a campaign that was less than 10 hours long. So basically I don't buy shooters that focus on multiplayer. Which feels like all of them.

Not only am I getting it, I'm getting the hardened edition. I review video games for my school newspaper and I wanted to most stuff to review, namely Nuketown Zombies. So yes, I am getting it on day one also. Not to mention it just looks badass.

Still getting plenty of use out of MW3 and I'm not a fan of the future-tech setting, so I think I'll pass.

I'm unlikely to buy it.

I wasn't fond of WaW or Black Ops, so I don't see any good reason for me to drop the money to get what will likely be the third off-brand CoD that I won't be fond of when I already have a bunch of other new games to be playing.

If a friend wants to give me a copy, I'll try it. If hell freezes over and it goes on sale sometime soon, I'll give it a try. Otherwise... nope. Not interested. I still have MW/MW2/MW3 if I need my generic multiplayer shooter fix some day.

I will be getting it.

I won't play it on live as the people playing COD with headsets on are terrifying. I will play it one weekend when the price is reduced actually... No rush.

I am mostly looking forward to the soundtrack as Trent Reznor did all the music.

Basically, this. I played MW2, kinda enjoyed the single player, played the multiplayer some, and then realized that I wasn't having any fun. So now I basically have a policy of only buying games for single player. If it does have multiplayer, I might try it out, but it won't be why I purchase a game.

That said, I don't have anything against multiplayer in shooters, it's just that there are a multitude of free to play games out there that I will probably enjoy more than something in a AAA game, and doesn't require me to invest 60 bucks that will probably end up being wasted.

Also, I just want to throw this out, but after I played Half-Life 2 again, I couldn't go back to Call of Duty single player, not even the good ones like COD 4.

Yes. But I got it as a present, so my enjoyment will be slightly biased.

Yeah but only for the story mode and zombies. It's rare I ever touch multiplayer, and that's usually when I have friends over.

Yes, I'm getting it day 1. However, not for the single player or MP, but because me and my friends are SO addicted to the NAZI ZOMBIES!!!

Probably not, I bought MW3 and after that abomination I decided that I was done with the CoD series. On the other hand Black Ops is easily my favorite CoD game so I'll probably play it at a friend's house to see if it's worth buying.

Treyarch has been showing more improvement with each game they've made so far, and they seem to understand what makes the series click, so I'm gonna get it. Eventually. But Call of Duty is no longer on my immediate buy list after the shit show that was Modern Warfare 3.

Not to mention the crazy amount of other games that are coming out.

Will probably rent it first to see if it's any good. I enjoyed the more retro campiness of Black Ops 1, but the more futuristic setting of 2 might be a little off putting. But hey, if I can run around a golf course with nothing but a knife and tomahawk and consistently get first place like in the last game, I'll be happy. I mean, Black Ops 2 can't be as bad as MW3... right?

Not unless I receive it as a gift. I don't dislike the CoD series, but after MW3 I got a bit tired of the modern warfare.

I'll be plowing away at Mass Effect 3's multiplayer instead. Must. Max. Manifest.

Kudos to them for doing something at least a bit different, and Treyarch has the advantage of including the excellent zombie mode, so its a serious consideration. However, Call of Duty is still Call Of Duty. They are always good, but also always a mite predictable. I'll probably wait until a sale.
