I will eventually, but I'm not entirely sure. The worst part is, I can't exactly see 3D because I can only see out of one eye. I would actually have to try one myself before deciding.

But I won't buy one right away. Nintendo has a habit of releasing a better version about a year and a half later, so thats the one I'm getting. I guess its a slight tradition/coincedence for me. I obtained the GBA SP, then the DS Lite, so why not keep doing the same thing?

Plus, you know. Got to wait on the price point. Want to see if its really going to cost $300.

I'm going to wait until they release the second, updated version that will fix all the issues the first one will have. We all know it will happen.

Nope. Not interested in the slightest. The only portable console I've had was the Gameboy Advanced, and that barely interested me. Handheld consoles are not for me.
Don't travel a lot or play a lot on your laptop?

Off topic: WHY CAN'T I PRESS THE BUTTON! It's so red... :(

Yeah, I'm probably going to get the 3DS. I was initially interested in how well the 3D actually works, and the fact that they have a slider to change just how 3D it is... well that's just awesome.

There are also some spiff looking games set for 3DS, not to mention the superior hardware.

Probably not, though it is wayyyy too early to make such a call. Why not reserve judgement until all of the facts are out?...I'd definitly want to try it before I lay down money for it.

While I am really excited for the 3DS, whether or not I buy it will entirely depend on whether Nintendo decides to use a region-lockout mechanism. If they do, then I will sadly have to pass. As an import gamer, the ability of being able to play games from any region is crucial and I certainly wouldn't want to support Nintendo in breaking a 20+ year tradition of leaving their handhelds region-free.

I think im gonna get it. I wish i had more money for it, so i might wait for a price drop. Ocarina of time definetally is a bonus (i still havent finnished it yet, darn water temple) and having MGS3 helps because I have never played one before, so i might be able to get into Metal Gear, and enjoy Hideo Kajima's "writting".

ABSOLUTELY. Improved graphics, a Game Boy focused Virtual Console (I WILL FINALLY HAVE THE ZELDA ORACLE SERIES ONCE AGAIN), a decent line up of games (And eventual releases of more niche titles) and the fact that it's nintendo's 'next' portable console and not JUST some upgrade, I'm absolutely going to get it.

...WHEN however, is another story. Considering Pokemon Black and White come out THE SAME MONTH here in the states as the 3DS is slated to release, I'm gonna be a little torn. Do I get the new DS and a 3DS game? Or the 3DS and a Pokemon Gen V title? =/

No. My smart phone is more powerful. Also, it can run the Unreal Engine 3, the most popular and widely used game engine on the market. Can the 3DS run that? No? Fail, Nintendo, fail. Also, I never played any Nintendo games except Mario and Mario Kart 64, and GoldenEye, so they can't lure me in with reboots or ports.

I will get one, but I don't know when their are a lot of factors that go into if I decide to get it on day.
first would be price and second would be games available at launch
