I'm pretty honest on the internet, it allows me to say things that I have to hide in real life since there are horrible consequences in being true to yourself...

Depends on the topic, I'm usually honest but I can exaggerate the truth when I feel like it.

Besides I'm not here to impress you guys with my life that may or may not exist! But then again was everything I just said a lie :p

I rate honesty pretty high so I prefer to stick to that. I'd rather just not post at all than lie.

Whether people decide to believe me or not is up to them, I can't do anything to change that.

i ask this question because a while back i saw a thread that was like "your bullying experiences" or something, and almost every reply was along the lines of "he bullied me. i annihilated him in a fight and he never bothered anyone again" and i fid that hard to belive, coming from a people who frequently reply to threads on a gaming website. so the question is: do you lie sometimes when replying to threads. i know i have
You really assume too much about us. When I as a kid some of my friends were gang-bangers and I was a pretty smooth talker, so fighting wasn't necessary by and large. I've been lifting weights for almost 2 years now so I'm hardly out of shape, and have diffused a large number of problems before they became fights in my years (bars are a hotspot for these situations).

Just saying, bub.

Oh, and I try being honest as possible unless I feel like busting chops or just generally messing with others, but those kinds of posts are pretty obvious, or at least, I think they are.

I never lie in a thread.

Which is exactly what I'd say if I did lie in a thread.

I don't lie, though.

Why would I lie?

It's not like I've got something to prove.

Impressing strangers isn't exactly high on my list of things to do.
Agreed. I don't care enough about anyone on this site to waste the time to think of a lie.

No. I'm quite certain some people on this website do, but I'm not one of them. I relatively frequently mis-remember random factoids from sources I haven't read in ages, but I generally own up when I realize it.

Also, why in the world would you ask this question? Why would anyone say yes?

I only speak the truth on threads, and I even vet my facts before posting, though you have to watch out for others.

For Abraham Lincoln himself once said, "The problem with 'facts' on the Internet is that it is difficult to verify their authenticity."

I wish to be honest most times but i've seen what my honesty can do and it's not very nice most of the time.

As far as I know, I don't lie. Why bother...I don't know anyone here in real life, and I tell you folks on here the exact same thing I tell people I do know. I have no skeletons in my closet.

@Nackl

I came on just to say the same thing. This thread is begging for paradox.

Well said, brother!
