This is a thread for those who are making their own websites.
What stage of development is it? Is it of professional standard? Do you have help you can offer others?
My current website is http://www.nozzleplots.co.uk/index.html (dont ask). Im not using a website creation tool (dreamweaver, etc.), so i can see what i can do with pure code, occasionally copied from help sites. im having a few problems with css, as in making it work to begin with.
theres a "leave a comment" section if you want to send me advice, although knowing my luck with this stuff, it doesnt work
anyway, whats your site?

I'm working on a site design for my radio project that will go live in a couple of weeks. It's gonna look like crap. Total crap. Because I can't afford Dreamweaver, I'll have to use some "site builder" tool...that will look like crap.

But the content? The content will be AWESOME.

i teach web development and i'm usually doing some stuff for work be it application form timetable sytem or good old boring web database however my own personal sites lack a certain something

my main business one (technically i'm self employed) is kitsunemimi.com and it sits there and has nothing on it as i can't think of anything good to put on it my personal fun site is ithinkihavethatmanga.com it was created partly as a joke and really it only consists of the forum i made to test out my skills (when i started learning php i said to myself "when i can write a forum from scratch i will be good at php+mysql") and my image host which is useful

cool! i havent even tried to write my own forum yet, it would die horribly and probably drag my entire site down with it

I have a couple of money making scheme websites... I just own the domains like, simple enough. (Adults Only - As in 18+) ( http://www.ShagUK.co.uk and my latest niche scheme http://www.ShagASoldier.co.uk Online dating is a cool business, I've taken the Shag name and am trying to name all my niche sites around that )

I also have my own website http://www.RobertToseland.co.uk (me) that I can't figure out anything to do with at all, so it's just pretty vacant. I've chosen to be totally arty farty with this one and just use Flash rather than be traditional.

Currently, no I'm not making a site. I would, but I have no reason to, I mean I enjoy web design and my friend has a server that I could host a website on for free but I just don't have any ideas for a site that needs to be made.

I have my personal web site [http://www.davidproctor.ca/] as well as one for my podcast [http://www.104cast.com]. I'm kind of planning a community-based web site not all that dissimilar from this one, but I need to figure out how I'm going to generate content to attract users and keep them coming back. I'm thinking that a comedy site would be a good approach, but I'm doing it because I want to make some extra money, and I'm not sure how much I'd need to pay people to write for me.
