Yes. Yes, I am.
Responding specifically to that, yeah. It's not that surprising once you consider just how many people have tried to destroy a segment of the Earth's population based on their difference in choice of race/religion/shoe size/danish preference. The only problem is there needs to be a follow-up question in terms of "Are you intelligent/rational enough to know that trying to pull anything truly batcrap insane like stealing the world's supply of camera lens caps, or attempting to rob Abe Lincoln in the past is pointless and will result in you looking like a fool?" That'll point you towards the people we really need to look out for.

In terms of attacking someone just to attack them... yeah, that's messed up.

But when that insanity harms another is it right to let it linger?

I appreciate that I have listed examples which perpetuate my point - silly me I thought that was the point of listing exapmles, making them relevant and all - I could list me as an example then. I've never...well there was that time I crushed a frog with a rock I guess. And I did hit my brother on the head with a filofax when I was a kid because it seemed like fun.

But then I grew up and learned some respect for others, so it's all good - can that justify the actions of these kids though? Will the grow up ok now that they know?

So lets wing it back to you then - if someone gave you a gun and said 'you can do whatever you want for the next 2 hours and there will be no consequences' what would you do?
Kill some people I guess.
Yeah these 10 years olds are influenced and thats why games have age restriction.
Older people see the difference.

I personally think that the way our society is built encourages this behavior. But to get down with the specifics, I would start by looking at the kids parents and social circle

it's like someone shooting another person and you blaming the gun. It's the person who makes the first and final choice. People who are over hyper and angry can still hold back from killing people why can't everyone else? The major problem then must be ignorance, which can be just as easily fixed.

In the words of Ron Perlman "Since the dawn of human kind, when our ancestors first descovered the killing power of rock and bone, blood has been spilled in the name of everything from god, to justice, to simple psycotic rage"

....I don't know about you, but I honestly enjoy just driving around, under the speed limit, not running people down, and listening to VCPR on the radio.

Of course I'm sick in the head. I'm a macrophile.

But enough about that. I don't enjoy random killing sprees in games, I enjoy driving around and listening to music. Or any other form of immersion, really.

It's just like I've been saying all these years- human beings are a disease, and we are the cure.

I mean they. They are the cure.

Not we.

...what?
