Are you usally taken for something/somebody you are not?

Apparently I can look incredibly scary, especially to people who don't know me. The kind of "don't want to meet in a dark alley, maybe cross the road to avoid" kind of scary. It makes me a little sad because I'm (generally) rather nice when you get to know me.

I've also been told I look like some sort of Nazi because of my Mohawk haircut, though I have no idea where that idea came from. It's a punk thing, not a Nazi thing.

Proof people are stupid. I don't remember learning in history about how Hitler made a law saying Nazis must have mohawks. Where did that come from?

OT: Because I'm not really happy all the time, I'm sad. Used to get asked at least twice a day what was wrong with me. That's just my face, but cheers for asking. Douche.

I really hate getting ID'd when I go into lingerie stores - why would a high schooler need garters, or corsets? Ehh, don't answer that, actually.

I did not know you had to give ID if you looked too young for a lingerie store...haha thats interesting. I guess its both a gift and a curse...that we look too young for our age. At least when we're older it'll be good for us =)

Al the time, Its annoying but I think I understand why.
People assume I'm an arrogant asshole or depressed. Mostly because I'm not really all that talkative with people I don't know and I'm a bit shy. I don't go up to people I don't know and talk to them because I think that?s rude and don't like drawing attention to myself or "forcing people to talk to me" (I am well aware that is stupid but it just the way I feel). Sometimes people think I?m not talking because I think I?m better than them or something like that. Also while I may have some issues with confidence (and most people do) I'm not depressed, I?m just not all that expressive. I don't wonder around with a grin on my face for no dam reason and when I?m happy about something I don't feel the need to jump about and make a fuss. I actually got told by a teacher when I was at school that I MUST be depressed because she never saw me smiling when walking to and from class. I considered going to school and just grinning like a maniac the whole day for some laughs and to prove a point but somehow I don't think that would have helped me convince her I didn't need counselling. Seriously who the hell smiles when walking around not doing anything? That just makes you look suspicious. Also drawing and reading is apparently also a sign of depression for some reason.
My brother also often gets mistaken for being white power or neo nazi because of his short hair.

As the title says are you usally taken from somebody/something else? It happens to me all the time peapole allways take me for a bonehead (neo-nazi) It's mostly beacose I'm a skinhead (not nazi) and they are nearly always taken for boneheads. It don't disturb me that much beacose I'm used to it but I would prefer looked at me as yust a punker or R.A.S.H that I acculy am (R.A.S.H = Communist skins) But does it ofen does it happen to you and for what/who do they acculy take you for than it happens?

Some people assume because I'm a pretty girl and really nice, I'm 'easy'. Can get annoying when I can shoot down guys like flies. :/

Well I don't know if I look scary, but I scare children. One time I was getting a lift into town with my girlfriend and her mam, who minds children. There was a 3 year old in the back seat, and when I sat in beside her, she took one look at me and started crying...

It's probably the beard. Children don't like tall dark haired guys with beards I guess.
I mean it could be the serial killer thing, but I don't tell anyone about that, and I'm always clean and don't smell of mutilated corpses!

People tend to think I'm unapproachable, arrogant, and high-strung because I tend to be so absorbed in my solitary pursuits and (ironically) prefer to let the world come to me. I'm nothing of the sort. I'm very friendly, open, and kind---but again, I won't open the front door for you---trying the lock and realizing it's unlocked will get you far with me.

My accounting classmates think I'm some kind of genius because the material comes easy to me---I tell them "I'm an idiot savant. Except for accounting I'm probably the dumbest person in this room."
