I still remember with bitterness that my mate told me ERGHURRGHUM died in the 5th Harry Potter book, and COUGHOACHGH died in the sixth.

Then I read the seventh, and realised what a pile of crap the whole thing was.

Way to go, JK, with your dues ex machina climax (Ol' Voldy can't be bothered to walk five feet and check his killer/enemy/nemesis/one threat is dead? So he sends the mother of the CHILD HE'S MANIPULATED AND THREATENED!?!? Why not send Goth-girl? She's a fanatic! She'd kill the corpse if he WAS dead!!!!!!!!)

Oh right, Spoilers...I mean Ol' Voldy COUGHOCUHGOUHCOUGHH OUHGOUHGOCOUH HAOARUAAARRGHH dead!!!!!!

I'm spoiler paranoid, from books, films, games, it's quite ridiculous actually. I just love going in naked and soaking it all in at once.
Naked!? Oh who am I kidding I'm just as bad.
Knowledge nudity FTW.

Spoilers don't bother me. In fact if the story for a game/movie leaks out ahead of time I'll most likely end up reading it.

I hate spoilers and hate the people who spoil movies/games/books even more. I've had a lot of things spoiled for me in my lifetime and there are a couple of people who I'll never forgive (for instance my mom's best friend's son. The little brat ruined Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix for me).

But yet I will sometimes spoil things for myself out of morbid curiosity. For instance there is a video on YouTube where two guys spoil 100 movies in under 5 minutes. I had already seen most of the movies listed, but I ruined a lot of others (like Oldboy and American Psycho) because I'm an idiot.

I'm sort of spoiler paranoid, ever since I had The Sixth Sense ruined for me.

But I don't get incredibly worked up. The main reason I avoid most screenshots and trailers for games is because I don't like getting super-hyped for a game and then being let down, even if the game is pretty good.

I actively seek out spoilers unless it's a book, which I try and avoid spoilers for that. BUT I'm not like you that tries and avoids EVERYTHING XD

Yes, i am very weak to spoilers. When i fine out about a game i look at tons of the stuff about it. Currently, i'm trying to stop myself >_>.

Modern Warfare is one of the few games I'm not very restricted to since the multiplayer is the main reason for my purchase.

I have to say, the second I see spoiler tags, I'm tempted. I want to experience the story on my own, but...THERE IT IS! RIGHT THERE! It can really be maddening.

I usually end up watching all the legit trailers, or those released by the developer intentionally, but in the case of say ODST when it was sold a month early, I virtually restricted myself watching or reading anything todo with the Halo universe, anything to do with rings, soldiers or anything with the letter "O" pretty much.

I'm sure there's probably a name for this sort of thing, & possibly a name for when you walk out of a cinema and shout out the twist in 'The Sixth Sense' next to the next batch of people waiting inline for a ticket. Or Star Wars EP:5, but whatever.

Several times this. I try to avoid opening spoilers for shows/games that I'm currently playing, but I almost always open them for everything else. It becomes an issue if I ever do start playing/watching because I already know the plot twists.

It depends.

I haven't watched anything apart from the teaser for Mass Effect 2.

But I still haven't finished Mass Effect 1 and I pretty much know the whole story. :\

Another thing that I hate is trailers that ruin movies. Like the trailer for Terminator Salvation showed that he was a robot and then during the movie you weren't supposed to know that he was a robot and had a big dramatic reveal scene in which he found out that he was a robot. A lot of trailers nowadays spoil the movies that they're advertising. It's pretty stupid and makes me not want to go see the movie.
