I don't tend to think about my persona. This user is more like me if I thought before I spoke, and had the eternal threat of the ban-hammer hanging over me.

I'm pretty much the same in real life as I am here. If you met me, I think you would recognize me, the way I talk anyway, from here. In fact, when I do meet online friends or talk to them on the phone the first time, they always tell me I look/sound just like they imagined me. I'm not sure whether or not that is a good thing.

My username is an old RP character, so, in a way, I have been M. Shcherbatskaya before in other contexts.

Jim Doki is me, albeit occasionally exaggerated slightly. Every ounce of moral and anger and holier than thou is all me

Jim Doki is marketably more successful with women

I'm pretty sure this is me... It's my name and I express my views and opinion, though, I'm on the internet and internet personalities tend to be a tad exaggerated, so maybe not.

If it makes you feel better, you terrify the hell out of me, for some reason.
And yes, wearing lots of black tends to make people think you're prone to ascending the nearest bell tower, or something.
Why do people think I'm scary? I mean, I may wear black, but that's 'cause its practical! I mean, really, I'm the one dancing to my music and pointing out all the beautiful things of the world. And my pants are all stained with white, green, and a dash of blue paint.
I mean, people tell me that I scare small children, but they're oddly attracted to me. Last week, a child called me, "Mommy." I wasn't quite sure how to interpret that, but he seemed pretty certain that I was his mother.
And no, I don't look like I'm likely anyone's mother.
Just to get the "other group" represented here. I dislike people in all-black clothing, be that goth-, emo- og "scene"style; Or just plain ol' black.

It's a bit about association, I didn't like it terribly much before, none of the above styles; But after my fathers funeral I tend to associate black garments with his funeral, and as such dislike it very much.

Black is a colour of sadness, a colour without life. I don't mind you wearing black jearns, a black shirt, a sweater or a cardigan; Whatever, just don't only wear black. If you do it to be a rebel, you're a fucking idiot, if you do it cause you like black, you're wicked and you should try and steer clear of whatever influenced you that way.

Excuse my direct tone, I don't mean to harass or discriminate, I'm just voicing my opinion.

Nah, my user name isn't my real name (I got it from a book called The Risen Empire (By Scott Westerfeld))
My actual name is Raphael Martin Canaris. A descendant of Marcel Weyland (He has his own wikipedia page)

Not really, other then the occasional "You make me a sad panda", I don't really take on a persona. I do use this name for just about everything though online unless its professional.

I'm not a duck sandwich, but damn, they're delicious.

On these forums I talk very much like I do in real life. The only real difference, of course, is that I have time to gather my thoughts before putting them into words (So I speak more... clearly, instead of, ahh, talking like this as uh, I'm doing in these parentheses). Very useful for debates.

Also, my username comes from a long-running in-joke between me and two friends, which I eventually made a haiku out of (see profile), which won 1st place in some high school poetry contest. Sweet dealio.

I'd say I can be. I try to be.

My online persona is usually much more calm and collected than my IRL one, but maybe that's because I usually feel like I'm in control of a game, or what I'm saying, or that people won't judge me as much. Or they'll judge me on what I say and how I say it, rather than how I look, or if I'm staring at the floor as I say it.

It's kind of hard to explain, but I mean that I'm more 'confident' under this name. Especially under this name. On other forums I act more like a jackass but I use a different username...so hopefully people here won't auto-hate me. ^^;

Im suddenly glad i didnt go with my planned username Typhoid. Although it might have been a better measure.

I suppose i am me. But...
Im more cruel and agressive online (under this name at least.) but its a survival method. In real life i can be nice or kooky and know tht any bullies who target me for it will be eating through a tube. Here, all i have is my jerky-ness to defend me. A the same time, no one can ever beat me up so i dont need to watch my mouth to others as much.

My username is what I am once I remove the restraints of my mind & don't let any such things as inhibitions, habits, or culturing control the way I act. Except for the Dragon part, of course. So yes & no. PsykoDragon is me, but it is a part of me that I have only once allowed to surface. It is not the usual me. Not even online, or here on the forums.
