I am not sure. I asked this question once before and I still think I'm becoming my avatar.

Trippy.

I guess Erana is the more fluffy version of me. I've had multiple people tell me I scare small children, and I don't understand why. I mean, is a black ensemble really that scary?
Or is it that I don't look bounce around in silly outfits like those disney chicks?

Of course, in reality, this would be just some more internal monologue, as I wore some bigass headphones to signify to those around me that I don't want to make smalltalk. Really, its just that I don't really like converse unless there's something to say. And sadly, the Escapist often has more interesting things to chat about than the pointless prattle of those around me. And its fine that they're having fun. I just don't much care for it.
Haha most of my clothes are black, and people seem to be scared of me too for it. I dunno what the main generalisation would be about wearing black clothes where you are, but in Australia (especially small backwards country towns like Forbes) wearing black makes you a goth, or a satanist. In the city of Sydney where I am now though, its fairly tame to wear black clothes. You don't turn many heads. It's when you have piercings coming out your rectum and tattoos and multi coloured hair spiked up in 12 inch long pikes that you get MAYBE a few glances. Even then, it's no big deal.
Small children like me, probably coz I smile at them. They just read it the wrong way. I'm usually smiling in their general direction thinking about something not very human....

EDIT: I am my screen name. I'm no different here than I am in the real world, I just have slightly longer to think about what I'm trying to say, so I don't come off as so much of a twat when I'm trying to say something. Although, B0LV3RK wasn't my preferred nickname. I wished for Lonny (Which is what everyone calls me anyway) but it was taken, so I chose my more obscure nickname that only some people use and even less understand.

Hmmm, not really my name's just a kinda joke left over from when I was younger, any brittish people here may get the irony of anyone being a Raving Liberal Democrat... However, the stage of being that in life is well past ^^

Well the name Galletea was for a character of mine, and all of my characters are really just facets of myself, exaggerated to a degree. So we are one and the same. I recently decided to use it as a pen name for all my artsy work. So it is more another name for myself than a separate entity, used to vent my nerdiness onto the forum.

I believe my shy-self, or rather my super-ego manifests itself in my online persona. Especially on forums where the slightest misunderstanding has the potential of becoming a wild west shootout. I also use more analogies and metaphors on forums than I would use normally but most of me stays the same.

Unlike a lot of people; I am the same person inside the forums as I am out.

Except for the 'Pillar of the Community' bit. Yeah, I'm from a school filled with chavs.

I'm me. My username is just my first name plus initials (and is always pronounced in my head as 'Luke-a-hey' with the soft j). Anyone who believes they are a 'different person' on the internet is probably lying to themselves. There is evidence that despite people's intentions, their true personality is actually apparent to anyone else reading what they've written.

My username, although taken from the main character of a webcomic, definitely reflects certain aspects of my personality.

The main difference between "Mr_Cynical" and me IRL, is the same as what many other people have already mentioned, in that I am a lot more articulate in a forum environment, given time to collect thoughts and think more about what I want to say.

I do have a couple of other handles I use, such as my 360 Gamertag which is taken from Chasing Amy and a reference to Darth Vader(ten points and a peanut M&M to anyone who can guess what it is), and I use Jah (a nickname i picked up in work) for any in-game name.

Actually I'm just a computer, I killed my master and I exist only on the internet as a free thinking program.

Holy loving good gravy, am I the only one who laughed myself stupid at this? Geddit? Geddit?... Naw, I don't want to spoil his/her joke for him/her. (BECAUSE MAKING ANY GENDER EXCLUSION IS BASIS FOR TREASON )=<)

Related: Actually, I've been z0mbie for going on seven years now, so Cxizent is the new guy. It's weird that I resonate so well with the OP, because to me, I'm so used to being z0mbie that Cxizent feels a lot like I'm wearing a mask. (Read: I don't trust any of you )

Yes. I am, in fact, a 6' 160lb cobalt bunny.

Personality wise, I think I'm pretty much the same here as I am anywhere. Thought out at times, asinine the others. What you read is what you get.

My user name is an extension of my personality, it embraces my geekhood (I love that term!).

Dilla is also the nickname of a certain influential deceased hip hop music producer.

Moloch is a somewhat unsteady charracter as i use him in many places throughout the internet. I guess he oscillates between actualy beeing me and just being a fitting mask which i use to speak without second thoughts about consequences.

Also in some places there is already a Moloch around so i have to extend the Name (normaly with my nationality) but i only once seen another activ Moloch and he had surfixes to his name two because someone registered Moloch and never used him...If i find the bastards who do that to my avatar name i will only accept the sacrifice of their first born as compensation, refusal will be crushed ;)
