Admit it, as much as we spend our times indoors playing video games and snacking on hot pockets we all have friends [Some of them real, some of them imaginary!] The real question is that should your post-apocalyptic game suddenly become reality, which one of your friends can you count on to help you [or even if they'll survive!]

So, can you depend on your friends? [or will you just screw them over and take your dog on a journey to find your father]

I have two I would likely rally with. One is a buff nerd type: an intellectual with knowledge of practical application. The other is a burly pragmatic man and an avid weapon collector.

Most of my friends are former military or PMC. Granted, most of the military friends were mechanics or technicians of some sort. So, yes, I can. Luckily, the military friends specialized in boilers, pumps, electrical systems, plumbing, and other support jobs.

I'd -really- like to think so... but half of them would get themselves killed quite quickly. Some of them are reliable, though.

Well, out of my 3 main friends... one simply wouldn't care and would get himself killed over the dumbest thing, one would be too busy arguing what weapon to use, and the other simply isn't strong enough to actively fight zombies.

However, they have some useful skills. First aid, electrics, repair, etc. They'd be a good compliment for me, but they wouldn't be able to survive on their own.

Of course, none of this really matters since they're scattered across NYC. 2 of them live in Queens, the other lives in Manhattan and I live in Brooklyn, so there'd be at least a million zombies between unification. If we could actually survive that and unite, then there'd be no question of their competence.

Same here. Although some of my friends would have a good chance even if I wasn't around.

Yup. They're good chaps, but really, they're quite useless...

I guess I could find the other UK Escapists, they'd probably survive...

Well let's take my division class, division is a ten minute break in school days, consisting of announcements and such, and let's say my class consists of all my friends, then suddenly something happens flinging us into a wasteland. Would we survive? I would have to say yes. There would be arguments and such, but not as much If we were all friends. Many of my friends bring special skills to the table. As a group we would probably be able to hold our own. Unless of course a group of twenty somethings opposes us, or somebody with oh say guns. Otherwise we could make It.

I got a couple friends I'd face anyone or anything with. Strong, knowledgeable and non-whiners. One of them in particular, we don't have to talk or even look at one another, we just know what the other can do at that moment and the other one picks up the slack. Add my sister into the mix and no one could take our team down. Everyone - follow us, we'll get you outta here in mostly 1 piece!

Well most of my friends are good with the use of common sence which always helps but practically they wont be of much help.

It depends on the friends, but a good chunk of them are long distance runners or similar athletes or MMA fighters, and then I've got one who makes chainmail armour and has polearms. I think I've got enough friends who would be really solid in an apocalypse to actually support the less competent ones too.

Ehh... probably not. We're too much of video game nerds to really be able to survive really well. I do have a couple friends that I actually could possibly rely upon, but in any case if the apocalypse happens I'd probably just strike out on my own.

Well, most of the people in my age group and same sex are all athletic, and it's a small town, so we're basically all guarunteed a double-barreled shotgun each. Unfortunately... most of the girls are just fairly useless stoners... (Not saying stoners are useless, I know some some pretty productive stoners) SO yes, I do have many friends I could rely on in case of a nuclear apocalypse (although I'm more of a fan of zombie's and mutated viruses and such)

No way in hell they'd make it that long... Only one of them I think would stand a chance, and he wouldn't make it that long either I think... Hope "that person" could make it though. Or else the post-apocalyptic world would be a living hell. (even if that's what it's supposed to be, it wouldn't be that if that person was there too =P)

NO, and I can't wait for that day.
"Tim the zombies are attacking, what do we do?"
"OH, now your asking ME? The one who was crazy and read the zombie survival guide? why don't you find some sane person to do it."
And then I'd run off because of petty vengence which will leave me alone for the rest of my sad cold life.
Ah, to dream.
