That's right, Arrested Development is getting revived for one more season. Confirmed by Will Arnett and Jason Batemen.

The final episode closed off all the loose plot threads and solved all the problems though.
Plus as Futurama and Family guy have demonstrated, a show that is brought back from the dead will never be as good as it was because it doesn't have to try.

YES! I just started rewatching this series and it is pretty much the funniest series in the history of ever. It BETTER still be good!

Well as far as Futurama goes, yeah, it's not as good as it was, but it has a few shining gems. And I'm happier with that than never seeing another episode, especially after the way it ended (or rather, the way it didn't end)

The movie has been confirmed for a while now.

But while I'd like to be jumping for joy at this, I'm only cautiously optimistic. Obviously George Michael and Maeby are visibly older now than they were even when the show was cancelled. Age concerns could also be raised for George Sr. and Lucille, but a Grim Reaper suggested to me that should anything happen, it's easier to write one or both of them out of the show if they have to, and it could make a pretty compelling plot point, especially with George Sr. Though he's also one of the funniest characters in the show, so it would be greatly disappointing to have that happen.

Funny, because on their twitter page, they say they were going to make a movie back in November 2008, so almost 3 years later they are still only announcing it? But hey, a fourth season could be good, don't know how they'll continue from where they left off though.
