I don't think that counts so much as an art style as it does a setting.
It's not the fact that the buildings are abandoned, but how they look. The developers really did a good job with that.

Blizzard has it's own style that I really enjoy. You can basically look at a piece of art and tell if it was done by Blizzard. WoW is one of the few games I enjoy just exploring.

I like styles the most that try to not look real. I've seen games that look real. They're okay, but they don't stick with me as much. Final Fantasy is great with this. I don't remember much from MW2 in terms of environments, but I can recall the petrified forest in FF7 or the Kingdom of Burmecia from FF9.

Cyberpunk and clean sci-fi has always be some of my favourite but I always really loved noir styled art. I guess thats what you would call it, think Dark city, sin city etc.

Eh ^^

I like the Japanese art brush style like in Okami.

I like cell shaded.

I love cyberpunk.

And I like both dirty and clean sci-fi.
Edited to fit me.

I like the cartoony style of Fable and the dirty sci fi style of the planets in Mass Effect.

Easily cyberpunk. From the dingy dirtiness of Gibson's Sprawl to the neon skylines of Bladerunner, it's something I doubt I'll ever get tired of.

sci-fi of any kind and the comic book style cut scenes they did in Infamous 2, i liked those. that being send just a visually impressive game such as uncharted 2 I enjoy, as long as the art style goes well with the game I usually enjoy it.

Do space westerns count? If so that.

After that it would be steampunk. Sci fi mixed with Elizabethan setting and fashion. Hell fucking yes!

I'm partial to steampunk, but sadly there aren't too many games that use it.

Runner-up would be "clean sci-fi", as you call it.

I really like environments that are centered around vegetation, green tones, and forests. I also like environments centered around deserts and mountains. Stuff like that appears much in Prince of Persia Sands of Time, and Legend of Mana; two of my favorite games. And it's also the reason why Tanaris, Un'Goro Crater, Stranglethorn Vale, Elwyn Forest, Feralis, and Silithis are my favorite areas in WoW.

I also really like the "clean tech" look that the Protoss have in both the original and new Starcraft game. Also the "bio tech" concept that the Zerg have I like as well.

Just so I get a chance to drool all over the same game multiple times, I'm gonna have to go with Ico. My first thought was Okami, but if every game looked like that it'd be an eye sore

Steam and Cyber punk. I also like stories that are based around the times guns were first being introduced to armies and the general public. It's always interesting to see Gun combat and Melee based combat meet.
