I seem to have a strange aversion to colour.
I'm trying to use colour, but, still can't use it affectingly. I'm still learning. Good drawing by the way.

Been a while since I've drawn anything really. I just don't really care for it anymore.

This is the last piece I did.

wow you are quite good tho I would recommend practicing colouring it is a skill within itself and if you get good it can add so much more dimension to your images and even open up new ideas and styles you wouldn't normally be able to achieve.

Thanks, I've started experimenting more with colours since I got my tablet, because art supplies are pretty expensive when you're only using them to practice.

Ya I hear ya I find I tend to do alot of digital work for similar reasons that and the fact it brings so many options to the table like detail style of colouring etc. I feel bad for my old tablet I have had it for around 5 years now and it is so worn out I can't believe it still works half the time. My parents bought me a new one for Christmas its so big and nice I am afraid to use it half the time :p

I have a couple of freehand sketches of pictures I found. The demon I drew from scratch. [note: darkened for better viewing]
Hope you enjoy. Here's my favourite, the Beagle, the rest I'll put in spoiler tags

It's all awesome. Are you a professional in any capacity (or did you go to school for it) or is that all self-taught as a hobby?

Bluh bluh overly cartoony Black Pharaoh Nyarlathotep bluh

Can't post any of my more recent (or colored) stuff, though, 'cause it's all NSFW.

I really wish I could create something with a traditional medium, but I suck badly with... well, everything!

So here's my excuse for 'art', it's 40K by the way so apologies for that :/

Titan, still a work in progress, it's not textured or coloured yet and still a lot of areas to finish, slow going though as all I've got to work with is a bunch of grainy photos from google images, also as the rivets are actual objects there's a hell of a lot of them to make...

The cube to the side is the approx height of a person

I'll post the Baneblade as well, it was posted in the other art thread but I'm proud of it, it was the ever 3D model that I created.

I've also got some IG soldiers, and currently creating a destroyed city to actually put them in for a scene I planned many moons ago and still haven't got around to finishing *sigh*

Thanks for the compliment!

I never took classes, I've just been drawing since I was 8.

I think I lack the drive to really become a professional though - sometimes I can go months without drawing a damn thing.

I was always pretty good at drawing stuff I was looking at but never anything from my head. Every time I tried it looked like complete shight, so I hardly ever drew anything. As a result I never got good at it.
Here I am, a sophomore at college with a major in graphic design and have little to nothing to show for it. It's....depressing.
