Thats interesting, seems like an overtly complicated system. Does that apply to both landlines and mobiles?
That's for landlines. Mobiles have a set cost except for premium rate stuff where it's the cost of the call + service provider's usual fee.

This is for anyone outside of Sweden to answear.

When I tell people Im swedish, sometimes I get the question "oh, are you blonde and have huge breasts?"

Is that REALLY how you think swedish girls look, people? Really?
I refer you to

You also didn't say that they are not your physical attributes.

I actually would have just asked how tall you are. That would be my only stereotype.
No, I do not have blonde hair, my hair is brown, and about 50% or more of the swedish population also have brown hair, and most of the blondes nowdays, are not natural blondes, they only bleaches their hair for the hell of it. I do get comments that my breasts are bigger than average, but Im still young, so maby that'll change, I dunno.

Im 1.60-65 meters. And Im 16 years old.

Also the girls in the pictures are bimbos, or as they're called in sweden, "Fjortisar", they use to much make-up, to tight clothes, they act bitchy and probably lost their virginity when they were 13 years old. Sadly, most of swedens teenagers/young adults are like that.

I live in Alaska, which might as well be a different country from the US. Its different up here. So if you have any questions feel free to ask.
How bad are the street gangs there? I heard they were pretty bad on the magic picture box
The typical gangs arent so bad. Bloods and Crypts and so on are on the small end. The gangs we have trouble with are ususally tha Native and Latino gangs. Its sad because the native peoples are actually making serious attempts to keep the current generation out of gangs.

It's how we hope they look.

To US citizens...do that many of you really have a gun in your house? Is it pretty much everybody like we are led to believe? I'm aware that it may well be more common in some of the southern states, but really...how many of you don't have a gun somewhere in the house?
I have one, but it's from 1918, and it is disassembled so I can restore it.

Guns are actually very uncommon in cities, rural areas there are more of.

I haven't the slightest idea we were just required to learn the four kinds in computer architecture in college.

In total it's about 3 people of every 10 own a gun.... But in the southern states, everybody has one.

Is the beer really cheaper than most drinks in Germany? my boyfriend just got back from Kologne (spelling?) and he said that he bought beer most of the time because it was cheaper
Well it isn't cheaper than non-Alcohlic bevereages if thats what you wanted to know. But it's cheaper than Cocktails and stuff like this. And our beer has more alcohol than most American beers, so you don't need as much to get wasted ;-).

Thats a gret thread actually.

I'm American, I don't have a gun, and neither do any of my friends or immediate family. I have a $2 bill in my wallet right now. They're not that rare.

Hey Aussies: how efficient is a kangaroo as a mode of transportation?

What i really meant was, are local calls really not free in the UK?
No there are not free. They seem to be only slightly less than international ones.

Why? Are they free in the US?

I was only fooling around I hope you don't mind!

1.60 is like 5 foot 3 inches right? OK pretty average for a girl, maybe you need to buy some killer heels! Thats ruined my stereotype a bit really. On the boobs subject, although I am only a man, so I may not fully understand, I thought boobs tended to get bigger with age, so in you circumstances it seems unlikely to change!

As for the bimbos, does 'Fjortisar' have a literal translation? It sounds like a fun word. I would probably use stronger language to describe them but thats just me...

No it is not. It depends on where you live and the state of the area in which you live. I, for one, don't own a gun.... I use an assortment of pointy and sharp objects.
