Ass creed 3. Loving it so far but...

Dear god to I hate Connor. Almost every word out of his mouth makes me want to kill him. He just seems so unlikable. I am not far into the game (just got my ship) so hopfully he will get better.

I think he was used one to many times (revelations was disappointing) but I really miss Ezio right now.

How do you guys like him/the game so far?

Pretty much this.

He may have joined The Brotherhood, but he does not necessarily serve their cause. First and foremost his desire is to protect his people, it just so happens that helping the Assassins allows helps him do so. Anything not directly involved in protecting his people, though, he sees as a waste of time...until its benefit is out-right explained to him.

In short: he's impatient, and after seeing what they did to his home, he's justifiably eager to get his revenge.

I've only played a little bit of two. Is it worth getting this? It looks cool but I know little of the story apart from some dude who looks like Adam Sandler walking round a lab in pajamas.

You'd be missing out on a LOT of story. While you could likely enjoy the story of Connor in the Revelutionary War, you'd be completely lost with regards to the bigger story involving Adam Sandler.

This killed AC2 for me. I absolutely hate Ezio. Every single thing about him. I wish I could like ac2, but I just can't... I hope this doesn't afflict you too, op. AC3 is quite good.

Do I need to have finished AC:Revelations before I start playing this? I understand its a whole new time period/protagonist but all the stuff with Desmond being trapped in the Animus from the previous installment etc etc etc.

But we all have to admit it...we all like Desmond. Don't YOU deny it! xD (We all know its true!)

Connor. (more emotional in my opinion)
Ezio. (Funny ass...I still like it.)

Other girl in Liberation I don't know.

He's a serious character who has zero comic relief. It's pretty hard to write a serious character with no comedic traits.

Honestly, he reminds me a lot of Altair. I don't love him, I don't hate him. But I will say, when they inevitably make the sequel, I have the feeling he's going to be a much more appreciated bad ass.

I just watched the ending online, and I'm not lost one bit. Just know that Desmond's father came into the story somewhere in Revelations, so he's there.

He irritates me so I might be racist. WTF? I had no problem with his mum. I have no problem with Achilles. I just find Connor irritating.

OT:

I personally felt the same about Altair because he didn't ever seem to find any joy in anything, no really. He just seemed so permanently glum even while I was throwing myself off of giant towers into bales of hay. At least Ezio seemed like he was having fun at times; I actually fell in love with the character at the beginning when you go for a gallivant around the rooftops with your brother because it made me realise how very rare it is to see a main character actually enjoying themselves as much as you are when playing.

I quite like him. He seems to be determined to do good but has a more aggressive side he's trying to hide (you'll start to see it soon). I think he's just a bit lost and confused so you get to watch him develope his personality, or that's what I'm hoping.

The only problem I have with it so far is everything's really dragged out. Also, is it just me or is the game really glitchy?

Shaun was a Templar seeing as he does a lot of the coordination for the Assassins and especially now with the whole the Templars are on the side of the British thing. I hope not though, I really started like Shaun in Brotherhood.

Yeah, so far Connor is just Altiar 2.0 from what I've seen. He even sounds just like him.

Maybe things will pick up as the Revolution kicks into full swing.
